Stayed Feb 8, 2026The house was even better than the pictures. Everything brand new, modern and working properly. Hot tub was great. Kitchen overstocked, even the knives were sharp. Lodge was two houses away and was a lot of fun. We spent our apre ski there drinking complimentary wine and beer and playing pool and shuffleboard. My one observation was that the ski in/out worked great as long as you were at least a low intermediate skier. I wouldn't recommend it for a brand new skier. It was a little tight and steep in a few places. The staff was very helpful, shoveling the decks and walks when we had fresh snow. Highly recommended.

Stayed Sep 11, 2025Here for the RuttRun and 3 generation family reunion of 13 plus friends for dinners. No better view/deck lounging and dining experience. Stove, layout and cooking utensils worked perfectly for large group dining/cooking. Wonderful property on all levels, including host Meghan. High quality modern construction with top notch decor, appointments, and appliances. Previous reviewer complaints re next door house construction noise/fumes have apparently been addressed: we stayed 4 nights Thursday-Monday and although crew was working next door when we showed up they were gone by the time we unpacked and we didn’t see them again. Neighborhood lodge was another highlight for adults and children. Really enjoyed that feature. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Our experience renting Unit 26 at Cascade Ridge was deeply disappointing, and I strongly caution anyone considering renting here until construction in the area is fully complete. The rental listing included only a vague note about “ongoing construction as we develop our community.” In reality, there is active, nonstop construction immediately next door—not just during standard weekday hours, but at all times of day, including evenings and weekends. On multiple occasions, loud machinery and diesel fumes made it impossible to enjoy the balcony or have any peace and quiet, which was a major reason we chose this property in the first place. Equally frustrating was the lack of responsiveness from management. Despite repeated calls, emails, videos and even visiting the office in person, our concerns were ignored or brushed aside. There was no transparency about the scale of the disruption before booking, and once we arrived, there was no meaningful effort to address our situation. In sharp contrast, VRBO themselves were extremely professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. This is especially disappointing because the house itself is truly beautiful, with a stunning view and what promises to be a wonderful community once construction is complete. For the price we paid, we expected honesty, quality, and a restful stay. Instead, what we received was noise, fumes, and dismissiveness. My advice to future renters: do not book at Cascade Ridge until construction is done

Stayed Aug 3, 2025We were here in the summer for a week. The location was perfect for exploring Yellowstone and the Big Sky area. Lots of outdoor activities, dining and shopping are nearby. The house itself is beautiful. The views are excellent. This is by far the best appointed rental house we have ever had across the country. The perk of the lodge is not pushed enough in the listing. This was a great spot for the kids to enjoy games and swimming. The hosts there were terrifc. We don't tend to vacation in same spot, but this is one we would come back to!

Stayed Jun 28, 2025We had a multi-generational group of 15 celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Bedroom and bathroom configurations were perfect. Location served as a base to visit Yellowstone. Also really enjoyed the Big Sky area. Host was very responsive. But the best was the view we had of Lone Peak from the house!

Stayed Mar 5, 2025Our group really enjoyed our stay for a long weekend of skiing at Big Ski. We had a group of 11 adults and found their to be plenty of space. We hired in a chef to cook one night which was great. The ski in/out worked well (after we figured out how to navigate) though keep in mind it is a couple lifts from the core mountain which close at 4 PM. We took great advantage of the club house for a game of pool and a swim in the pool as well. We will definitely be looking ot return on our next trip to the area.

Stayed Dec 21, 2024First stay in Big Sky Cascade Ridge perfect destination home. Two families plenty of room to spread out , each of the 6 bedrooms was en suite two gatherin areas, Well appropriated kitchen allowed for two nights in home chef with Wild Chef ( also great ). Views off the back balcony of Lone Mountain were breathtaking. Watched the fireworks on the mountain Christmas Eve from the balcony. Ski in access was easy, even for a beginner in our group. Ski off did require connecting lifts but allowed all to come and go as they preferred without making car runs into the base village. Hot tub and wood burning fireplace made apres relaxing. Communication with the rental company was easy and allowed us to ship our skis in a few days early. The lodge associated with the rental house was great with ski lockers and even included some after ski apres beer and wine … Overall five stars
