Great location for us when visiting our daughter who lives in Sylvan Park. Easy to get to places all around town - restaurants, Broadway, arena. Loved that it is so close to Centennial Park - we’d walk there and around the park to get some exercise before venturing out for the day.
Really enjoyed the apartment, great location and great view of the city from the bedroom!
I was in town for daily radiation treatments at Vanderbilt. A friend was with me. This was close to the medical center campus. I would recommend to others and would stay again. Very quiet. Promptly responded to emails and texts. Thank you.
I stayed here for a month and found it to be quite nice, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living and sleeping accommodations. The location is great -- just a couple of blocks from Centennial Park, walking distance to Vanderbilt and lots of restaurants on West End Ave. It was great to have free covered parking (though the columns in the parking garage sometimes made it challenging to park a large car). It was an easy drive or an inexpensive Uber ride to downtown Nashville from this location. There were 2 small things that kept this unit from being perfect: There was no full-length mirror. And there was no dresser. I was able to clear off space on a bookshelf for storing clothes, but a dresser would have been nice, especially for a stay of more than a couple of days.
This lovely VRBO is located in a great location. You can see the Vanderbilt stadium from your windows. We felt very safe coming and going both during the day and at night. We parked in the underground parking without any problems. It is a quick walk to the Parthenon and the surrounding park. There is also a stop nearby for the Hop On/Hop Off Trolley. There are also restaurants within walking distance though we did not visit these establishments. The apartment itself was very comfortable for my husband and myself. The couch and chair in the den area could easily seat 4 adults. The bed mattress and pillows were great. Ample towels and extra sheets for the twin foldout. Full size washer and dryer were a nice touch. The extras were limited at best. A bit of coffee (thank you) and coffee filters that may have been left from a previous tenant. No soap, toiletries, kitchen cleaning, etc. We were quite surprised but perhaps I did not read the fine print. You will need to bring everything. We were also disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. We immediately removed the bath rug as it was covered with hair. The baseboards in the bathroom should also be checked. The tub does not drain well. We could have called for service but did not want to waste our time waiting. I would rent again with the understanding that I needed to check things immediately and plan to bring all of the extras. We were fortunate that we were not planning to cook while we were there!
Love this corner until, lots of windows on the 4th floor. Everything you need and within walking distance to several restaurants and Vanderbilt. Quick Uber to anywhere in the downtown area.
Beautiful place but quite a noisy location. Walls are definitely not sound proof either. You could hear the people next to you. I would suggest to the owners that they put a mattress protector pad on the bed as our fitted sheet kept coming off in the middle of the night. If you have a dog, it's probably not the best place to stay. You have to get on an elevator and try to find a tiny patch of grass by the street for your dog to relieve itself. Overall, the place was nice. These are just a few main things that bothered me.
WONDERFUL ACCOMODATIONS FOR A GREAT TIME!
This property has all the hard things in a rental property taken care of: comfortable beds, great location, well decorated. HOWEVER, we arrived to a horrible smell of fish permeating the entire unit and it took 2 of the 5 days that we were there to resolve the issue, the sheets were not clean (human and animal hair), there were not extra sheets for the pull out bed, the sink was clogged in the bathroom, and there was only one roll of toilet paper provided for 3 people for a 5 day stay (no extra), in addition to a layer of dust on shelves and more hair on all the baseboards. Blech. Except for the smell issue, these are all pretty simple issues to take care of with a basic cleaning, especially when this is a property that is managed by a professional company. After my initial call, they did send out clean sheets the next day, changed the air filters, and sprayed febreze, which helped, but the smell persisted. They came back the next day and left a bottle of febreze as the solution and we ended up running fans 24/7 and went and bought activated carbon at a pet store on our own to get rid of the smell. In the end, the company refunded $180. We were hoping for one night of the 5 night stay to be refunded in addition to the cleaning fee as the smell issue caused us to lose a night of sleep, and took the time out of our vacation to get this resolved in addition to the inconvenience and ick factor. I hope they figure out these issues as it's a really cute property and great location...but I don't know that I would rent here again, unfortunately. :(
The unit was as described. It was in a location that was important to us. Cleanliness of the unit was an issue. The bathroom floor and baseboard had hair and dust. The coffee maker still had coffee and grounds in them. The floor near the front door was dirty. Other than that the unit was what we were looking for in a walkable neighborhood.
The location was great! The space is nice, but there was someone else’s coffee in the carafe from a previous visit, so much dust, no kitchen towels and only two bath towels. The kitchen counter was so dirty, the end table had a lot of dirt and cup rings. There are no extra linens for the fold-away bed. Overall it was a good location, but we were ready to leave.
Wonderful and bright apartment that met our needs and exceeded our expectations!
Pros: quiet neighborhood, comfy couch for sleeping, comfy pull out bed—bamboo, not what you imagine when it says pull out bed! Feels spacious with tall ceilings, modern, nice dishes and utensils. Parking was always available in the garage. Dish, hand, dishwasher and laundry soap provided. Cons: sheets were not clean when we arrived. There was dust/hair along the baseboards in the bathroom, dust bunnies around the loft, but surfaces/sinks/toilets were clean. More info: The walls are a little thin, which isn’t a problem with the loft itself, but you can hear toilets flush or water running. So if you’re a light sleeper; keep that in mind. Would be nice to have a set of sheets for the pull out bed-we had brought our own for the couch, so used the fitted sheet on the fold out bed and the flat sheet on the couch. Blankets were small for sleeping, so bring your own blanket/sheets for the couch and pull out bed. Would be nice to have a little bigger mixing bowl, we made pancake mix in cereal bowl, but there was a nice griddle pan, so we made it work! Salt and pepper would be nice to have on hand as well. You do have to drive into the city, centennial park/Parthenon are walking distance, some restaurants walking distance too. An Uber was about $12 each way for about a 10 min drive, so we drove and paid parking in town which ended up being about the same price. Overall a nice place, would return for sure!!
Nice and well kept.
