Stepping into the gorgeous Great Room, which has been professionally designed with stylish comfort in mind, you can recline in rich leather barrel chairs alongside the hand-cut stone fireplace for a soothing, serene evening. Or, with two large enclosed patios to choose from—each with sliding glass door entries and fabulous views of the surrounding woods—you can be “close to nature” while enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of coffee! The kitchen features a wraparound granite countertop, custom wood cabinets, and high-end appliances.



All of the bedrooms feature top-quality bedding and linens, ensuring a sound sleep and sweet dreams for you and all your guests. Wild Horse Run can sleep up to 8. Also, each floor has a comfy couch-and-wide-screen-TV area for entertainment.

Lest we forget to mention, the stunning Warren Dunes State Park is close by, with its 2,000 acres of amazing sand dunes, beachfront, wetland trails, and extraordinary birdwatching! You and your guests might also relish visiting New Buffalo’s Oselka Park, which has baseball fields, playground equipment, and tennis courts. The Neighborhood:

Just 70 miles from downtown Chicago, New Buffalo is the gateway to Michigan and a historic Lake Michigan beach town. There are plenty of shops, places to eat, and recreational offerings. Beyond the legacy of summer fun, find a community of hosts and creatives sharing their love of art, culture, and craft throughout the year. New Buffalo is also the location for Southwestern Michigan’s first gambling casino, the Four Winds Casino Resort, and Silver Creek Event Center – the place for concerts featuring headliner entertainment plus conferences and special events.

We highly recommend a personal vehicle to get around and explore the local area. Those arriving by boat will find an around-the-clock public boat launch and a full service transient dock facility. There is an Amtrak Station in New Buffalo (225 North Whittaker St.) that offers service to Chicago, as well as Ann Arbor and Detroit. The South Shore Line, another option for a day trip to Chicago, stops in Michigan City, IN about 10 minutes’ drive from the house.

Other Things to Note:

To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.



All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.



The minimum age to rent this home is 25.



A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

    The property is beautiful and it's in a great location. However, the house was not very clean, there were legos, dirt and food under rugs and left in the dustpan. Dirt and food smudges on the walls and doors and left over Easter eggs under pillows. Juniper was very responsive and apologetic when we reported the issues. They offered to send a cleaning crew and gave us credit.

    My wife and i love the Harbor towns of Southwest Michigan and try and get here once a year. It was our anniversary and we wanted to find a nice home with a Hot Tub and close to the Red Arrow Highway and this place was perfect. The home is clean, decorated very nicely with comfy beds and a nice hot tub in a screened in porch. A big surprise was when we arrived there was a cake wishing us a happy anniversary. It was so unexpected and shows you what kind of hosts you are dealing with. We cant thank you enough. The communication was perfect and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you.

    We enjoyed the home. It was just as listed. We went hiking at Warren Dunes in both rain and shine, visited a few wineries, ate at local restaurants and took advantage of all the homes amenities. Nice location, hot tub was great for relaxing and so was the campfire in the evening where we enjoyed s’mores. Sat on the covered porch.
