This property was absolutely perfect for our stay on Ocracoke! The overall feel of the home was a beach vibe and very roomy for our family of 6. The kitchen was fully appointed with all we needed to enjoy cooking meals after a fabulous day on the beach. The outdoor area was amazing: comfy seating on the deck and lower waterfront area, a fire pit, and a picnic table. The location was perfect and being canal front was a huge plus. We cannot say enough to recommend this property to other travelers. We will be back!

Spent a very relaxing late-summer week at this house with some friends. It's location is perfect, on a quiet canal. We spent lots of time outside: eating and reading on the decks, grilling and making amores, etc. We were slightly unprepared by the lack of some basic supplies: there was no toilet paper, no soap for washing dishes, no dishwasher detergent--requiring several trips to the store for expensive local varieties. If that's standard, it needs to be made more explicit, so be aware if you're a first-time renter like us. The kitchen supplies were also not entirely adequate: there were no tongs or spatulas for the grill, no full set of measuring cups, and the only pan without a disintegrating base was the wok. We made do--and again, the house was very cozy--but the lack of some of the basic amenities was at times very frustrating.

Our visit and rental was really great. We just wish it could have been 2 weeks. Best Island on East Coast!
