Pensacola, Florida
Great Location in Old East Hill Preservation District, Pensacola, Florida. This unique historic home with private courtyard is located just blocks-away from all the great downtown festivities- one block from the Civic Center and the Palafox Market, and just a few to historic downtown Pensacola with great restaurants, museums, galleries, festivals in Seville Square, and the Blue Wahoos stadium, just to name a few of the things to do in our historic Pensacola.....only a 15 minute scenic drive to to the beach.
Everything is located on the first floor of the house... The unique ship’s ladder will not be needed to access any of the rooms in the house.
This is a very cute little house. Perfect for walking into Pensacola for all the shopping, dining options. It's also greatly located to go over to the beaches and other tourist locations. There were a lot of little touches that were great - there was coffee, tea and creamer as well as a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. Quality toiletries and the towels and linens were extremely nice. Only a few little things that I can even mention - the gate to the cute backyard/patio didn't have a lock on it. It was where we stored our bikes and it made me a little leery, but there were no issues. The front storm door is in the process of being fixed (it was cocked so it was difficult to get it to close tightly. The water takes a while to get hot, but once it's hot - it's HOT. The shower had great pressure and was roomy. If you want to unpack your suitcases there isn't a lot of shelving/drawer space. There was a great area with hangers to hang clothes in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our visit and if we ever come back to Pensacola we would definitely stay here again.
We love the old style charm of the little red house. Everything was furnished nicely and very clean. Complimentary wine and snacks also. We did minimal cooking but there was a need for cooking pots. We look forward to booking this property next time!
It was a great stay for the time I was there. Great amenities, great location which was close to an event at the Bay Center I went to. I liked the historical feel to the place. Great restaurants like Hub Stacey's and rest of downtown. I can't wait to book again.
Absolutely adorable! Perfect getaway house for a couple... comfortable, thoughtful amenities, great location on a quiet street. Walking distance to almost anything you'd want to see/do!
Just perfect...exactly as advertised, just what we needed....will stay again!! House was classic, tasteful and comfortable. Great experience all around!
Cute lill place with an amazing bed and location. Walking distance to the downtown area and quiet neighborhood. No issues with neighbors. The back patio is beautiful and a perfect place to have morning coffee, lill noon tan, or dinner bbq. Would stay here again
This is such a cute little house! It was so comfortable for two people. The bed was very comfortable. We do quite a bit of cooking in rental houses and this kitchen had everything we needed. The walk-in shower was great. We would have loved to utilize the backyard more, but it was too hot and muggy during our stay. It is a lovely backyard. The little office desk in the dining room area was an extra nice touch. All in all, we had a great stay in the Little Red House!
I loved this property so much I returned for another stay. It is the perfect spot for a getaway and quiet stay.
Really enjoyed our stay here, perfect for a short visit with family living down there. Easy in, easy out, total comfort.
This was the cutest, perfect little house for my daughter and I. It made for a great little get away for her birthday. So convenient to everything. Thanks
The property was conveniently located to restaurants, the civic center, and shops/boutiques. We were able to walk most places; however when it was rainy driving was easy and convenient given the dedicated parking space at the property. A couple of days we went down to the water and it was again a quick easy drive. Location, location, location!!
I use this location every year, and every year it’s great. Checkin and checkout is super easy. The welcome snacks and water are always pleasant. Super comfortable bed.
Clean, no stale or “old home” odors. It was about a 6-7 minute walk to the Bay Center. No safety issues noted. Cottage fully stocked. Neighborhood while in an older section of town was clean and we felt very safe. The only downside was The neighbors parked on the street at curbside in front of the drive, which made it difficult to maneuver backing out from the driveway. While this had nothing to do with the owners of this home, it does reflect on the lack of respect of the tenant across the street.
The owner was incredibly nice and the home is a delight. I would recommend The Little Red House to one and all. The location is ideal for both downtown activities and the beach.
We enjoyed staying here so much and will be back! The house is a beautiful and charming combination of antique with modern conveniences. It’s in a great location - not far from Pensacola beach, downtown, and tons of restaurants. Jo was responsive and had all of the little details in the house covered like supplies for kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and well stocked. We used the washer/dryer and dishwasher without any issues. The back patio space and front porch were lovely little spots. Well priced. Highly recommend!
Jo was very quick and responsive. Great experience!
We loved the historic look of the house and the quiet neighborhood. Short drive to Palafox St. The house was very well equipped with everything you need, they even left some waters, coffee and creamers, tea and a nice bowl of treats to get you started. Thanks again and we will definitely be back!!
Perfect location for eats, short trip to the beach, or just doing whatever. It’s literally the perfect spot. Away from traffic. The house itself is so unique. Perfect for a couple getting away for the weekend. We will be back for sure.
