Lovely private beach house. Have the beach to yourself a lot of the time.
We enjoyed a little family get away for 3 nights. My daughters (ages 15, 12, 9 & 8), myself & Mimi LOVED everything about this place! Andrea met us at the dock and helped us get all of our things to the house. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. The views were absolutely breath taking. The house was well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed: beach towels, kitchen utensils, beach toys and chairs…even a mini ice machine! The house was spacious. We never felt crowded even with six of us there. The best part for me was the air conditioning. The house stayed cool the entire time we were there. It felt amazing coming inside after a full day on the beach. The location was really quiet. The beach was never crowded. My girls enjoyed taking walks and finding sharks teeth. You can’t go wrong with this house! We are already trying to line up our calendar for a return visit.
Location location location. Accommodations were very good. Ice machine was a huge plus! Jennifer was awesome. Replace Viasat with Starlink and we would never leave… :) We will be back.
The island is amazing if you are looking to get away from the congestion of the Florida winter tourist season. The house is in a wonderful spot on the beach and has breathtaking views. The fishing is also a good plus around the island.
First keep in mind we were there shortly after hurricane Ian and days over Chrismas which was the coldest Florida has been in decades. Impossible to be outside. The island is still a mess with downed trees and houses. That being said the house was in good condition, is beautiful and the view tremendous. Right on the gulf. For negatives: almost have to rent a golf cart which is expensive as are the water taxi rides which are the only way to get to and off the Island. Also costs daily for parking adds more expense. Only complaints on the house are: 1. The back door to the beach would not lock 2. 2nd light in downstairs twin bedroom 3. Shower head in down bathroom a problem 4. Microwave and washer/dryer gorgeous but so fancy should have written instruction on operation.
Ok
Loved Little Gasparilla Island and were blown away by the property. To start, the owner, Amy, was very responsive and helpful, and the property manager, Jennifer, went above and beyond to make check-in and check-out incredibly easy. She even helped with our move to another property and when we left the island. Then there is the house itself. Your own boardwalk out to the absolutely gorgeous beach; hose at the end to wash off sand. The open layout of the house was phenomenal, with a huge kitchen and a number of seating areas, all with spectacular views of the water. Very spacious porch facing the water, chairs were so comfy, great table area for meals. The upstairs bedroom was amazing, with its own sizeable porch, twin sinks, separate bath/shower and loo, and a big changing room with a dresser and large closet. It’s an open staircase, if there’s a lot of activity downstairs you’ll hear it, but the room is stunning. Everything you need is there including a separate icemaker (unexpected), well-stocked kitchen, beach towels, storage room below with lots of beach “stuff.” Small thing but we were pleasantly surprised to find an insinkerator, which is great since you have to carry your garbage back to the mainland. Great artwork and appointments throughout, everything was in great shape. We had a boat for the week, and while we didn’t use it as much as we expected (wound up hanging out at the house/beach a lot), there’s great exploring/swimming/fishing. We did not rent a golf cart, easy enough walk from the house to the boat, and the island’s very walkable. Thank you Amy and Jennifer, amazing place, we look forward to returning in the future.

A beautiful home which was very well equipped. The beaches are pristine and the dunes offer total privacy for a quiet retreat. Jennifer made the arrival and departure easy. Will definitely return!
