Leave the car at home and simply step out the door - a vast array of eateries, shops and other amenities is just a short stroll away. Wander to the Avon river and follow the riverside walking trail to Te Pae, Oxford Terrace or further to the Botanic Gardens or the burgeoning Arts Precinct.

The north facing open-plan living is cleverly designed to bring the outdoors in. Large bifold doors can be pushed back to connect the securely fenced wraparound courtyard garden extending the living area and creating a superb sense of space. A gas fire lends ambience to the sitting area and overlooking the dining area is a beautiful high spec kitchen with a gas cooktop and stainless steel counter.

Upstairs, arranged along a light-filled gallery, are three double bedrooms, including a spacious master with WIR and tiled en suite plus a family bathroom with separate bath.

Off street parking is either inside the internal access garage (small cars only) or in front of the garage.

NB The open staircase makes this home unsuitable for babies, toddlers and the less mobile.

    Our group of six, which included two kids, thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the house was modern, clean, and comfortable. The house is warm and has a gas fireplace in the lounge which we really appreciated. The kitchen is great to cook in - spacious with high-end appliances and a six-burner cooktop and two ovens. The location is great - walkable to a Christchurch tram stop and Margaret Mahy Park. Highly recommend!

    Even though it was next to a busy street it was quieter than expected. Had everything we could need and we felt warmly welcomed when we arrived to the property. Use of garage was nice— it fit our Toyota hilander just fine. Nice walk to town to experience Christchurch. Thank you!

    My partner and I stayed here to attend both a family wedding and present a business talk in Christchurch. The townhouse was superb. Beautiful morning to evening daylighting bathed within the townhouse. Creating a relaxing ambience from dusk to dawn.We love to walk. Staying here allowed us to walk to the city for our business presentation talk, restaurants and excellent gym.Our hire car easily parked within the closed garage and location very suitable to driveaway out to the beach at Sumner and Lyttelton.Perfect place to rest up and connect to the Christchurch lifestyle.

    Property fully met expectations based on description in VRBO. Main living area - kitchen, dining table and lounge area - open plan and well-equipped. We had a couple of hot days - so really appreciated bring able to open up the large bi-fold doors. 10-15 mins walk into central Christchurch, so location worked for us. Although we didn't need it, good to have on-site parking. Hosts thoughtful. Communicated well brfore our visit and responded very quickly to a couple of practical questions when we got there.

    This was perfect for us, 3 full double bedrooms one with en-suite and spacious living area, well appointed kitchen etc. and a double garage with internal access, all walkable to the CBD.
