The Space
Our guesthouse has 1 true bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room downstairs. It has 2 full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. This first floor is made up of the kitchen and living room. The second floor is comprised of the bedroom and one of the bathrooms. It has a cool loft feel upstairs due to the modern angles of the roofline (there is no door to the bedroom). The guest house a kitchenette with your basic cookware, dinnerware, and Keurig machine ~ Please note that there is not a proper stove top range and oven. Instead, you'll have a small convection oven and hot plates. The living room and kitchen can open up to the outside easily with the use of the garage glass front garage door window. There is also a nice yard that you can enjoy when the weather permits.

This is the perfect space for one couple or two looking to have a great time in Nashville and stay right in the heart of one of the most popular neighborhoods in town. Walk to some of Nashville's best spots (BarTaco, Jeni's Ice Cream, Josephine's, 12S Taproom, Frothy Monkey, etc). It is only a $6-$8 Lyft ride to downtown as well. You will love it here.

Guest Access
Guests have access to the guesthouse only. Parking and entry are behind the main house on Beechwood Ave. There is parking at the guesthouse for 2 cars.

We give our guest space but will be available if needed. If you have any questions or are less than satisfied with any part of your experience, please contact us right away so we can fix any issues you might have.

The Neighborhood
This historic neighborhood is located just down the street from Belmont University, Vanderbilt University, and Lipscomb University. It is close to many of the hottest areas in Nashville. Walk a half block and you'll be in the center of 12 South where you will find great restaurants, coffee houses, and bars such as The Tap Room, Edley's Bar-B-Que, Burger-Up, Frothy Monkey, Portland Brew, Mafiozas, and Urban Grub. You are also about half a mile or so to Hillsboro Village which is home to more great bars, restaurants, and shops such as Sam's, Jacksons, Pancake Pantry, Cabana, and McDougals Chicken. If you head south you will go to Green Hills which is one of the best shopping districts in the city.

It is less than a mile to Vanderbilt and Lipscomb's campuses and a 7-10 minute drive to downtown where you can take in all the Honky-Tonkin you can handle.

Getting Around
ON FOOT
Walk just a couple blocks east and you'll find yourself in the 12South District. Walk north a few blocks and you'll find yourself on Belmont's campus.

RIDESHARE
There are rideshares all over the city from Uber, Lyft, and even Earth Rides (Tesla cars only). They are easy to call anytime day or night. Pro traveler tip: download all apps to your phone so you can compare prices and get the cheapest option!

TAXIS
See the ride share option above, taxis are available however few and far between and can be quite pricey in Nashville. There are so many taxi companies that we really cannot recommend any one over another, and we encourage you to investigate rates and reviews to find one that suits your needs.

MTA BUSES
The MTA (Metro Transit Authority) Buses run all over Metro Nashville and even some surrounding counties. Very reasonable fares and a wide range of routes make the bus a cheap and easily navigable choice for visitors.

NASHVILLE B-CYCLE
Nashville's bicycle sharing program has been a huge success with locals and tourists. Simply walk up to any Nashville B-Cycle station, swipe your credit card, and pick out your red bike!

PARKING
There are two small parking spots next to the guest house and street parking available as well

Other Things to Note
• No Saturday arrival or departures allowed. We typically will have a 2-night minimum on the weekends. Minimum night stays may fluctuate with certain events and holidays.
• Check-in is at 4 pm // Check out is at 10 am. If you're looking to check in early or check out late, we suggest booking the night before or after your arrival. Otherwise, to be considerate of other guests, we cannot guarantee that early check-in or late check-out request will be accommodated. Please inquire about possible luggage storage options if planning to arrive before 4 pm. Feel free to arrive anytime after 4 pm.
• For security and to maintain the integrity of the property and neighborhood, we have installed Nest cameras and NoiseAware systems. Cameras are on the outside of the house only. NoiseAware simply monitors noise levels outside the home to ensure the area stays quiet and peaceful.
• Rest assured, our team is around 24/7 for any emergency that may arise.

• Regarding the guesthouse: Max occupancy is 4 people. There is one bedroom upstairs but note that there is no bedroom door. A Keurig machine and basic kitchenware are also provided. The oven is small & the stove is two hot plates rather than a full stovetop.
• In the winter - do not hesitate to raise up the heat. With all the beautiful windows, the heat doesn't stay unless the temp is set a touch higher. Additionally, we provide two space heaters & blankets for extra comfort.

    A beautiful space. Light filled. Very clean and comfortable. The location tucked just behind 12th Ave is perfect. Easy access to restaurants, coffeeshops and boutique shops. Unfortunately, my stay was during an exceptionally cold weather week and it was really cold in the apartment especially because one entire wall is glass- with that glass garage door. The host was super responsive when I complained and did bring an extra space heater and blankets.

    Loved the little garage/cottage! It was cozy and all of the windows let in so much natural light - made mornings so nice (even the rainy ones). UrbanNashville was a wonderful host! Very quick to get us what we needed without a question and asked if there was anything else! So good! Will definitely book with them again!!
