Liberty Cabin, 3 blocks from Lake Superior, near Pictured Rocks and trail access

We enjoyed our stay @ Liberty Cabin. It has been recently remodeled and looks great!! Very comfortable, smart TV, well equipped kitchen. We had a couple minor issues, but Cory went above and beyond to take care of us!!!! Would recommend!!!

Great place! Fully equipped kitchen, large table can accommodate many for dining or game playing. Comfortable furniture for hanging out. The yard is big and fenced in. Great location for many activities. A short drive to excellent cross country ski trails and a short drive to the Eben ice caves for winter activities.

Lodging was as listed and host was quick and helpful with any questions and issues that arose.

Location! Right by the mouth of the river on Lake Superior. Cozy and plenty of space.

The house is very nice , I tend to spend too much time searching for a place because I’m always worried I wont make a good choice, especially when others are staying . Everyone was happy with this place. A couple important things; not a lot of the houses have 2 bathrooms, this one does which is one reason I chose it ,, two full baths . Another very nice amenity is a large completely fenced in yard for children or pets , lot of pretty trees ,a fire pit and chairs , a nice deck with a picnic table with a nice grill and a nice wooden swing . The living room has 3 nice leather couches, if you have a large family that’s a nice feature . Very easy walk to beautiful Lake Superior to see a gorgeous sunset . About 30 minutes from Marquette & 10 minutes to Munising . Au Train is a small town without a lot but there is a nice small store very close and a pizza shop also very close & not far from the larger towns . Liberty Cabin also has a nice fireplace, although we didn’t really get to enjoy it much because the weather was warm for the first week of October. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it .

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Was larger than the picture shows. Especially liked all the seating area in front of the TV. Was in a great location not too far from Munsing. The Ice Cream shop was fantastic. The Host was very quick to respond to my questions. He recommended a great restaurant we just lobed. Would love to go back some day.

We enjoyed our stay at the Liberty Cabin! The kids loved the bunk beds in each room and it was nice clean place to stay. We took advantage of the kayak company across the street as we kayaked down the Au Train river. I would definitely recommend staying at Liberty Cabin.

We loved this super conveniently located home! The home was so comfortable for everyone and we played Cornhole every night! We walked down to the outpost for pizza and grabbed a few key items from the little station. Would definitely recommend again.

Great location, easy access to Munising and the beach is only a few blocks away. Beds are very comfortable and entire house was VERY clean!

I was surprised at how much I liked this place. It is centered in between Munising and Marquette. It is a short walk to Lake Superior and couple awesome stores that have ice cream and pasties. I loved the huge private fenced in backyard where we played corn hold every night, that was supplied by the owner. The house looks to be newly renovated and is very clean. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely amazing stay, great location close to the water, nearby grocery & the pizza place down the road is phenomenal! Our host was very accommodating & fast responding, we will definitely be back!! 10/10 Thanks for a great stay!

A great place! Redone nicely, and great sleeping options.

Nice location, spacious, nicely furnished. It looked like it was recently refinished but not quite finished yet. Examples: missing trim on walls and doors, no drawer or door handles in kitchen, kitchen didn’t have enough lighting, new gates on yard but didn’t allow for location so 1 was frozen open and the other frozen closed, bathroom door wasn’t aligned so wouldn’t latch. In addition it wasn’t as clean as we expected with crumbs and sticky food on kitchen counters and dust hanging from ceiling fan. Some dishes were put away uncleaned, which was probably by prior guests.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much. The cabin was clean and quiet with plenty of room and the fenced in yard was a plus for our dogs. We would stay here again!!!

We loved our stay at Liberty Cabin! We walked to the local grocery and pizza/ice cream store right down the street for necessities and extras. Both had a great selection of beers and the pizza and ice cream were delicious. The fire pit at the cabin made for a fun conversation area. The location to the UP attractions in the area and the short walk to Lake Superior made for a fantastic location. Would love to return here again.

The house was so easy to get to & looked very nicely kept even before entering. The yard inside the fence was very spaceous & perfect if you have a dog like myself. Inside the house was so cute & had a balance of rustic & modern comfort.

This place was well priced to start but very accommodating with dishes, toiletries, etc. The yard was fenced in with a privacy fence so our dog was able to roam free in a well sized yard. It’s a quiet neighborhood very close to everything we needed and wanted to do and the beach across the street was amazing.

We loved this property. Especially having dogs and kids the yard was wonderful! Au Train was a perfect little town and we loved walking to the beach and the outpost for ice cream every night to watch the sunset. Au train is very close to Munising but offers an incredible beach and small town setting. We hope to be back!

We stayed for a long weekend with friends. The place was clean, easy to find, and in a great location to explore the UP! The fenced in yard, firepit and dog friendly atmosphere were a HUGE plus. We would definitely come back.

We had a very peaceful, relaxing visit at this Au Train cabin. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there is lots of counter space for eating and games alike, the couches are comfortable, and the yard is perfect for dogs (enclosed and private). The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans, etc. The town is not much, but perfectly quaint. We truly appreciate the three block walk to Au Train's phenomenal beach, as well as the home's proximity to Marquette, Munising, and endless outdoor adventures. I would rent this place again in a hreatbeat.

A walk from the beach was the highlight for us. More than enough room for 3 adults and 3 kids. House was clean, fenced in, and perfectly described. Great central location for us to venture west to Marquette for a day and spend another working our way east checking out waterfalls and pictured rocks.

Set up was very good. More living room seating than any place we’ve stayed. Giant tvs that worked great. Kitchen had all we needed. Fridge cooled quickly. And we loved the fire pit. Lake Superior is a fantastic destination.
