Overall, this is one of the most attractive and comfortable homes we've stayed in since we began doing the years we've stayed on Jekyll. We're very pleased with the home; also, friends and family who join us for a meal or a short stay always comment on how much they like the home and its decor. The home and guest suite are all decorated in a tasteful and pleasant manner well suited for a beach vacation. One has the feeling of being in a home away from home. The appliances are all high end and in good working order. When needed (which isn't often) we appreciated having access to the binder (located in a kitchen drawer) which in the includes all manuals. These are helpful when one ihas to use appliances that operate differently than those at home. The guest suite with a separate entrance located a short distance away from the main home is always appreciated by guests. Not only is it comfortable but it offers both hosts and guests the opportunity for space and privacy. The house is centrally located and only a block from the beach. There is a beach crossover which can can be used between low and mid-tide. There is a very nice outdoor shower; although we haven't used it ourselves, visitors that have were satisfied.All of the staff at Jekyll Reality are excellent, competent professionals who consistently respond in a timely manner when there are any problems be they with the internet, TV's or maintenance issues. This has always been our experience regardless of the home we've stayed in. Since many of the staff are all long time employees, it results in very pleasant interactions.Highly recommend staying here.

The location was perfect. The interior of the house was for the most part excellent, a lot of room, and had everything we needed kitchen, tv, and area wise. AC worked. The washing machine has mold around the door gasket and smelled. The screen door to the screened in porch kept on falling off and could use some grease on the rollers to get them working. The house exterior and yard needs cleaning and appears to be unkept for a while, unrelated to recent storms. It would have been good to know there are three bbq grills under the car port. The last few items are the reasons for the lower cleanliness and accuracy ratings. Fix those and the property is excellent. TY

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was charming and semi clean. The A/C had issues from the moment we arrived. We sweltered through the night and had to go out during the day to find a cooler place. A/C technicians worked until 10 PM on Saturday night banging and beating the unit to try and fix it with no avail. Needless to say, our children couldn’t go to sleep. This is our first and last stay here and with Jekyll island realty. We called and all we received was an apology. No effort to reimburse.
