Summary:
PVH is located on the edge of Whitby town centre. The property is fully equipped and sleeps a maximum of 6 over 3 bedrooms (2 doubles, a single and a double sofa bed in the living room). No pets and no smoking. Self catering.
There is excellent walking access into Whitby. There is easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors and neighbouring towns. There is a comprehensive central heating system and is decorated in a modern style.
WiFi is free. A £65 cleaning fee is applicable per reservation.
The Space:
The property is spacious and is end-terraced. There is an open entrance hall from the front door which leads into the large living room and kitchen to the rear. A dining room can be accessed from the kitchen. In the dining area is a sliding door feature leading out into the rear yard which can be used by guests for storage during their stay. The key safe is located by this sliding door and we encourage guests to use this access point upon arrival.
The first floor consists of two homely double bedrooms, a bathroom (only showering facility) and a single bedroom.
Parking is ample; it is free and on street.

Guest Access:
First-point access is to the rear off Byland Road. This is into the rear yard which is marked with a perimeter fence and number 34. From this rear yard, guests will find the key safe, in which are keys to access the sliding door.
Access to the front is via a pedestrianised area which leads to the front door.
The Neighborhood:
Whitby is a popular tourist area with many events and historic features. The area in which the property is located is highly populated with local people with several holiday lets in amongst this community.
Crime rates in this particular area are low and you will find a range of demographics in this community.
Getting Around:
There is excellent driving and walking routes into and out of Whitby.
Bus routes are easily accessible to guests looking to go into Whitby town centre. We advise either bus or walking into Whitby since parking is charged and can be difficult to locate - especially in busy seasonal periods.

The property is very modern with ample parking nearby. There could be access problem for some people as you have to negotiate steps from the street up to the back entrance. The kitchen has basic cooking equipment. We were a group of friends attending a music festival and the location was perfect for walking to the venue or for going to Whitby shops. There was a problem with the toilet which one of our party was luckily able to fix temporarily. We felt that some supplies could have been better: dishwashing tablets, tea towels & a hand towel for the kitchen. An inventory for the house would be very helpful in planning a stay. Good value and a quiet location would entice us back.
Cracking house, very spacious and comfy beds had everything we needed and lots little bits you dont normaly get like, bin bags,toilet rolls , soap's. plenty room so you dont feel like you under eachothers feet. Superking bed was heaven Was spotlessly clean nothing at all to fault, with in walking distance if harbour cant wait to visit again
Excellent communication with owner . Overall a clean property a bit of an unpleasant smell downstairs.Would have preferred to have curtains up in the bedrooms for sleeping purposes in the summer nights . Good location close to Whitby town centre parking was very poor had to leave the car around the back of block of houses unable to see the vehicle . Outside the house could use a clean up big bush over front door and living room window which scratched on the windows at night while trying to sleep on the sofa bed . Patio area could do with a clean and made more inviting for the summer months .
Great sized house in good location
Second year we stayed here for the Goth Weekend, excellent place, clean, tidy and a stones throw away from the sea front. Wanted to book again for next year but sadly snapped up already ☹️
