Stayed Sep 26, 2024Fantastic well-appointed property. Very comfortable. I don't think we were notified of the bear deterrents (electrified). Evidently good to have but don't walk around barefoot or allow your pets to walk over it.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024I gave the home 4 stars instead of 5 because this is a Winter house and we made a mistake vacationing here in July. When we arrived it was spic and span but stuffy and hot. It was in the 80’s inside and out. We don’t have AC at home either so we know the drill of opening and closing windows and doors for circulation but since two bedrooms downstairs only have patio doors and we were instructed to close all doors at night due to bear activity these rooms were hotboxes. We were gone all day so accessible windows and doors had to be locked anyway. The bedrooms each had a floor fan but they were cheap ones which sounded like jet engines and fell easily. Sleeping was difficult. This uncomfortable situation was made worse by the winter style. Sofas and beds were covered with brushed suede and heavy fabrics and overloaded with furry pillows and blankets. Ottomans and stools had cowhide covers which was so scratchy on bare legs we had to put towels over them to sit. We didn’t mind the holiday season feel of the decorations but it was impossible to relax with seating that was overheating or uncomfortable with shorts on.The lovely outside deck which looks into treetops and out onto mountains was nice early in the morning but the summer sun was on it at dinner time so we rotated who got to sit under the umbrella. We enjoyed the little putting green in the morning over coffee and the Cowboy Saloon room was great fun. The house is very nice. I’m sure it’s fun in cold or cool months.

Stayed Jun 19, 2024Well thought out architecture and design. Many amenities. Staircase is a bit steep, but there is a rail. Quiet and peaceful location with nice views. Not cheap, but we recognize the many upgrades and their values, not to mention a sky lift 75 yards from your driveway.

Stayed May 26, 2023The cabin was very clean and nicely setup like a up scale hotel rather than a rented cabin. Would love to come back in the future.

Stayed Feb 9, 2023We loved the location! Short walk to the ski lift, couldn’t have been easier. The house was beautifully designed and the amenities were incredible. We enjoyed the large seating and gathering areas, the bar and hot tub were incredible extras! Very well managed property too. We would highly recommend this house to families or friends groups looking for an incredible Tahoe getaway!

Stayed Nov 19, 2021The house was amazing. However, we had to purchase batteries for the WII, the keyboard for the computer and for the fan in the great room. The fan also squeaks loudly. We also had to buy paper towels as there was only one roll in each location, the kitchen and the saloon. We also had to purchase trash bags as there were only 6 under the kitchen sink. Nor were there extra trash bags for the bathroom trash cans. We stayed for 10 days and for the price we should not have had to purchase anything for the home. Also there were numerous spiders the size of a quarter found throughout the house and cobwebs to accommodate them. I personally had to eradicate 4 of them myself in the Axe Room. At least a dozen to be found. Overall the house and trip were fantastic but feel there should have been a bit more attention to the little things mentioned above.

Stayed Sep 3, 2021Great place, the layout of the house is awesome with its open upstairs and the downstairs is very perfect for multiple families plus the man cave or saloon was great for late night hangouts without waking the rest of the family or early morning cartoons.

Stayed Aug 13, 2021Beautiful home. Close to activities and restaurants. We chose to spend a lot of time at the house. Pricey, but like everything else... you get what you pay for!
