Last Minute special/ping pong table/oceanfront/pool/elevator/old nags head style

The folks who manage Forbes Fever are unbelievably competent and kind. Ronni from Rentals on the Ocean called us a few days ahead of our scheduled arrival to warn us about a winter storm that was forecast to arrive on our check-in day. She let us come down early and check in without charging us any extra. Then another storm was forecast for our departure day and so we departed two days early and Ronni gave us a refund for that, even though we told her it wasn't necessary since we arrived early. Incredible empathy and kindness. The place was fantastic - old school Nags Head, baby. Yet all the modern conveniences one expects on the OBX in 2026.

We loved the house. It had so much room for all of us to spread out if we wanted, and a fabulous den for us to all gather together too. The location gave us access to everything; all the places we wanted to go. We had a wonderful stay. Miss Ronni was fantastic to work with to get the arrangements taken care of! We absolutely loved it!

The host does a good job of maintaining the property. No problems to report, making for an easy and comfortable stay.

Had a great stay and your property. Home was very accommodating to a party of 11. Kitchen was small but well stacked with anything you needed. The one towel per person did not think was a great idea. Location was fantastic and home was clean upon our arrival. The outdoor porches in front and back had beautiful composite decking, as well as there outdoor dining tables. We stayed 4 nights and had zero issues. That’s always a plus. I would recommend staying here and would stay again myself.

Great location, well stocked with everything we needed. There were only 2 of us, so plenty of space. Unfortunately we arrived at a bad time, tropical storm followed by a Nor'easter. The accommodations were very comfortable and if you had to be shut in for 7 days, this was the right place.

Beautiful home, all the comforts needed to make a great vacation. Enjoyed the pool as an added bonus.

Many of the beds were old and uncomfortable. Everything else was very nice.

This place is fantastic, perfect for large families with teens, and I'm already planning my next visit. The updated bathrooms and main spaces are a lovely touch, considering the property's age.

Love the house

Very clean, great location. For a pet friendly home, no issue with cleanliness or smell. You wouldn't even know it. All but two beds very comfortable. Excellent service for a door lock malfunction and very pleasant staff. Only one issue with staff using the water for the linen storage/washing under the house, which while using, none of the water in the house worked. I walked down and spoke to the lady and she was very pleasant and stopped immediately and then was a non-issue. Kitchen items fully stocked. Older yes, but 4.6 out of 5. Would definitely come back again!!!

House and location were great

we found the house unique and fun to explore.everyone enjoyed the pool and the boardwalk to the beach was much appreciated.

The house is in a great location by the beach. Great spaces for gathering, grilling and relaxing in the pool or elsewhere. S. Nags Head is close to a ton of restaurants and other activities. Very family friendly and accessible. The rooms and beds were nice too, though there is a bit of a strange layout that meant my elderly parent in laws would come right out of the elevator into my wife and my bedroom. For that bedroom the en suite bathroom is shared with another bedroom. It's a small issue and one that might not be a problem for your group. Overall it's a great place, with great hosts on a stunning and perfect beach!

We have returned from a great family vacation in this ocean front home. Lots of room for the family to spread out, kitchen very well equipped. Spaces to dine on both nice porches.

Our whole family enjoyed the stay! Very clean inside and out. We loved the seating on the deck and pool! Plenty of room to give everyone privacy. Close to many restaurants

Multi-gen family vacay-4 generations and we all were very comfortable. Elevator is perfect for grandparents and great-grandparents. House was very clean. It’s an all wood interior which is dark. Pool is fantastic for kids.

Everything about this property was a surprise. You could see the sunrise from one window and the sunset from the other in the top bedroom. You could walk straight out to the beach or stay in and play games. Our teens that came hardly spent time on their phones because they were so busy doing fun things! You did not have to go anywhere to have a good time, just stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. The last surprise was the 2nd fridge!

Great place and location. One thing to note is it’s a tight fit for a motorized wheelchair in the elevator

I for one always get nervous when I get a pet friendly house even though I bring my pets but you cannot tell this was a pet friendly house. It was so clean and inviting. We will be back in November. I highly highly recommend booking any of their properties.

The property was very clean, except saw a couple big roaches in bathroom and on our bed. The upstairs was very hot with no separate unit to control it.

Everything was above expectations.

Our family (including two pups!) all had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on the beach. The location was perfect for our needs, we loved being able to walk over the dunes to the ocean every morning. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was so clean! We are looking forward to staying here again, thank you!

Really enjoyed the house. Wished the ocean was more visible but outdoor space is wonderful! Plenty of room for all of us. Fence area for the dogs was great!! Kind of worried about folks coming and going for cleaning but they were very respectful of our space and the dogs!

Great House. Sons first beach trip. Everything was great. Awesome deck. Love being on the ocean!
