Beyond fantastic. We rented their beautiful lake house for my mother’s birthday. We all agreed it exceeded our expectations. The views indeed are spectacular. We are already planning another girls trip with our mom to come back. So private, relaxing, breathtaking…..cannot wait to come back again. Thank you again to the owners for sharing this retreat

The house is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the upper deck with beautiful views of the water.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home to celebrate the end of summer! The house had a wonderful layout, with two living spaces, a large dining table, and three bathrooms. The outdoor space was ideal with a lovely deck and patio, fire pit, and dock. Our kids enjoyed playing bocce ball and whiffle ball in the backyard. The house is also in an excellent location - close to multiple marinas/boat rentals, stores, and restaurants. We had everything we needed during our stay! We would love to stay at this house again!

Calvin and Mary's house was a great launching pad for a family vacation - right on the lake, with a dock. And they were very quick to communicate with us. The house was adequate and clean inside, though the outside areas were not clean before arrival. Maybe nothing can be done about the plethora of bugs near every light source, so we had to leave the outside lights off. The hot water seemed to run out fairly quickly - only one person could shower at a time to maintain adequate heat. Overall, we had a great weekend with the family!

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and beautifully decorated lakefront home. The layout was ideal for our group—plenty of room for everyone, and each person had their own bed and privacy, which made for a comfortable and restful visit.The furnishings were both durable and comfortable, and the kitchen was impressively well stocked, with high-quality appliances—especially the refrigerator, which was large and efficient.Both levels of the home offered stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the lake, giving us a sense of being immersed in nature without sacrificing any of the comforts of home.The owners were responsive and helpful when we had a couple of questions during our stay, which we greatly appreciated.This is a home that will meet the expectations of even the most particular renters.

We absolutely love this stay. We make several trips to Houghton Lake a year to see our grandkids and kids. The description online does not do this place justice, exceeded above and beyond.

We had an amazing time! 6 of us, friends since high school take an annual trip to relax and this was perfect. The views were great, location accommodating, great area. Hosts were amazing and house was beautiful!

The place was nice on the lake with beautiful views. The accommodations were not as detailed in the listing. We planned to use the bunk bed in the lower-level bedroom as stated in the listing, but there was no twin bunkbed in the lower-level bedroom or any other place in the house (this should be removed from the listing). This made it rough for sleep accommodations for our family. The docks were great for docking our boats, but Houghton Lakes water level is VERY LOW and swimming at the location is not good due water level and weeds. Glad we had the boats as we were able to find sandbars on the lake to enjoy the water and sun.

We had an amazing stay at this Beautiful lakefront house! We are already talking about going back next year. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortably slept our families.

This house is gorgeous, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Highly recommended!! I want to move in....
