Our stay was great. We had 4 households staying together for a family vacation. Alpenglow fit our needs great! The kitchen is well furnished and the host was great with questions!! Also - the check out process was a dream. So much easier than so places we have stayed. We did pay the extra resort fee to access the pool and fitness center since we had several kids with us, and it worked out great. We went to the area without a huge list of plans so the location worked well for us to explore Durango one day, Mesa Verde one day, Ouray (highly recommend) one day and then the train to Silverton too. We also did family pictures with Haylee Fleck at Haviland Lake - check her out if you need family pictures - she was the sweetest. Overall we had a great stay and this location fit the bill for our crew of 14 perfectly!

We love having room for all our family to stay together and have the convince of ski in ski out location!! We will book this home again.

Easy ski in-out with lots of beds! The bunk room is perfect and big for the kids! House was very clean and host was extremely responsive. No issues!!

We enjoyed our stay in Purgatory and the home was just as the pictures looked. There was plenty of space for our mini reunion and wedding weekend. Would stay again!

We had a great visit to this property. It was clean and located in a location that was easy to access. We were able to sleep our whole party and have a great time spending time together.

We (fourteen in total) didn't realize until arriving that the Summer activities at the resort didn't begin until one week later than our stay. We adjusted by taking a tour of the OLD HUNDRED MINE tour in Silverton. SO SO FUN! One day trip to Pagosa Hot Springs and another day shopping in Durango with the grandkids taking in the Discovery Science Museum @ The Powerhouse. We were also surprised with Anniversary Dinner @ 636 MAIN AVE coordinated by our kids. Food was excellent as was the hospitality. Back at the rental, we used both the front deck for grilling and the back deck for the hot-tub and played dice games. Before heading home, our kids surprised us yet again with a golden hour photo session by area photographer, Haylee Mae Photography. We definitely aren't the Kardashian's, but we loved our session with Haylee. Her personality more than made up for some annoying mosquitos who thought they had been invited too. The property was great. Just be prepared for this multi-level property having multi-level stairs. You will get your steps in for sure. All in All our visit was a great experience with the family we love and the property customer service was courteous and helpful. YES, we would definitely consider another stay in the future.

The main living area is a little small for a large group, but there is another bunk/living area upstairs. The location was great. Just a short walk to the bunny slope where you can take the lift up to base.

Enjoyed the property very much. Will be saved in our favorites for this area for sure.
