The host was very friendly and communicative. Great quiet setting yet close to town and practically across the street from the Spartan race.
Barbara is so sweet! She communicated well through text. She greeted us outside when we arrived and chatted for a couple of minutes but she let us be and enjoy our alone time. The room is spacious and very sweet. There is no control for AC in there but if you text her, she will adjust it with no problem. She made us banana nut bread too! The property is secluded so if you enjoy the peace and quite of the country, its a charming place to stay.
The hostess was wonderful and extremely accommodating! The unit was adorable and she had thought of every convenience to make our stay comfortable ( including some homemade baked goods!) The parking area was a little tight for our 1 ton dually, but overall it was a wonderful experience!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with this booking. The property is quiet, secluded, and absolutely beautiful! The host was kind enough to have a loaf of banana-nut bread waiting for us in our room. And that was such an appreciated gesture after a long (but beautiful) 5-hour drive. Barbara (the host) was beyond friendly and helpful with ensuring that our trip was enjoyable and eventful. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, she even sent us some flyers listing events that were happening in town. Thanks to Barbara we attended the opera, the rodeo, and even a ghost tour! The cherry-on-top was being able to walk around the large property on a beautiful morning and enjoy the wonderful sounds of the country-side. We even meet a cute little chicken that belonged to the neighbor that came over to visit. The room itself was a very cozy and had a large and comfy bed. There is a well-stocked kitchen nook and a large bathroom. Not to mention the wonderful windows that look out into the property! Lastly, Barbara's kindess evem continued after our visit, I unknowingly lost an earring and once found she reached out immediately and offered to mail it to me. Needless to say, my husband and I have decided that we will most definitely return in the future for a visit. We have decided that whenever we visit Granbury, this will be the location that we will always book.
Out of town but close to towns. Had everything we needed and host was more than helpful.
Barbara was so sweet to greet us when we came in with a welcoming smile AND warm banana bread. We were comfortable and had everything we needed
Room is secluded and very quiet. No traffic noise! Host was great to deal with. Bed was comfortable and Barb was good with making sure the room was a comfortable temperature.
The most comfortable and cozy stay. Very impressed
We had a wonderful weekend...this rental is exactly what we wanted! Quiet, clean, comfy, and convenient to shopping in downtown Granbury! Very comfortable bed and pillows! And the sweet host, Barbara, had fresh, warm banana bread in the kitchen waiting for us! So yummy!
Great place for our quick stay and being close to Pecan Plantation.
wonderful quaint secluded spot. Loved it! Barbara was wonderful and easy to work with and baked us fresh Banana Bread. Will definitely recommend to others!
Barbara was incredibly easy to communicate with and the property was just as described. It was easy to find and just tucked away enough to be quiet and peaceful, but still very close to town. Barbara is a very hospitable host and available for anything you may need! Highly recommend!
So pretty outside, lovely cottage, and secluded area. If you check in at night be sure to bring bug spray since they are drawn to the light outside.
I liked the place and the owner was very accommodating.
We enjoyed our time at Barbara's. Just enough space to rest and enjoy a book in bed. We visited during the hottest days. Thermostat is located in her home but because of the temp it struggled to keep cool during the day no vault of hers. She had fans that helped. It did get cool enough for sleeping. We loved the banana bread that was waiting for us. We will be back just not in July.
The property is a cute little secluded apartment attached to hosts house., but has own entry door. Host was very helpful and communicated well with us. Nice place to rest while we were visiting Granbury family. The banana nut bread was a nice little bonus to come home to.
Quaint, quiet, peaceful place. Lovely hostess. Wonderful homemade banana bread !
We had a wonderful time in Grandbury. The property was beautiful, clean and adorable. Miss Barbara was very accommodating!
My husband and I had such a nice time! Such a cute little tucked away property! Barbara was super sweet & her banana bread so yummy!!
My husband and I stayed at Barbara's cozy little cottage for his 59th birthday getaway. Upon arriving we walked in to the smell of Barbara's amazing banana bread that was waiting for us in the quaint little kitchenette area. The room was warm and inviting with a big bed, cozy reading area, beadboard ceilings, and freestanding tub in the full bath. We arrived late and didn't want to disturb our host so decided to meet her later that weekend. In the morning we awoke to the sweet sound of a couple small birds chirping outside and walked out the French doors into a garden patio surrounded by nature. We decided to head to Glen Rose to see Dinosaur Valley Park which didn't disappoint. After we came back to the room, showered and napped in peace and quiet. We woke and drove into Granbury to visit D'Vine pub and listen to the live Irish music while enjoying a winearita frozen drink...soooooo good! We walked the town square, met some really fun people, and enjoyed some decadent chocolates from the local sweets store. When we got back we met our sweet host, Barbara. She is truly the kindest most accommodating host I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She welcomed us into her beautiful home, told us a little history about the area, and is now a dear friend. All in all, this was a magical weekend we'll never forget! See you soon Barbara! Allen and Lisa Jaworski
