This property exceeded all of our expectations, and, frankly, is so much better than can be seen online. The property is a half acre on a corner lot across from the river in the nicest area of Wichita. It has numerous patio tables in the front and back yard, a barbeque, sports games and a whiffle ball court which is nearly the size of a paddle ball court and loads of fun. David, the host, even provided bicycles for for use around town. The house itself has three large bedrooms, two of which have oversized bathrooms including a spa tub, a huge living room and fireplace seating area, a large formal dining room, breakfast area and kitchen, a large laundry room, half bathroom, abundant closet space and more. There are four mounted flat screen TVs with all the channels through DirecTV and all the apps. The house is unbelievably well stocked with towels, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, kitchen supplies, pots, pans, plates, silverware, pillows, and if anything is missing, David will quickly supply it. And he is a very accommodating, funny kind and charming host. All very high end and the only place we will stay on future trips back.
Loved the location. Convenient to everything.
We are three female adult family members. We rated this our best stay away from home ever! House was beautiful and very comfortable. Beds were excellent. Everything we could need was in the house. And although the River Blvd had some traffic on it, it was not noticeable or annoying noise. The house has a great place to walk along the Little Arkansas River. It is within blocks to the Botanical Garden which is amazing. The art museum is close, as is other good Wichita attractions. Good part of the city. We will be back for sure! The owner was nearby and very accomodating.
