Large Modern Farmhouse on 3 acres 7 minutes from downtown

The house was beautiful and perfect size for our larger party of family/friends. George was very accommodating and responsive to us immediately when we had a concern for a grill not functioning like the website said it was, but he immediately took care of it and provided us with a brand new grill because we had planned to grill the entire weekend. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing we used it every night. I enjoyed the back deck to sit and work on my computers when I needed to get some work done and the place had a huge back yard to enjoy while I worked. The mornings we saw lots of deer crossing by the back yard. Would love to come back!

This was the perfect spot for our family. Host is fantastic and quick to respond with questions Highly recommend!

Clean house, lovely setting

A beautiful home that was perfect for our girls trip! George couldn't have been more welcoming or responsive when we had a couple issues that were quickly resolved.

The property was gorgeous, tons of space for entertainment, the host was extremely communicative throughout the entire process!

This house was fantastic!! Layout is great and so spacious. Clean and fresh smell along with a beautiful kitchen that was fully stocked with everything you might need. Drinking coffee on the porch every morning was relaxing as the family of turkey and deer explored. Right off the interstate making getting to downtown Asheville quick but tucked away and peaceful. George was so attentive and came to the house quickly after a TV didn’t work. Communication was spot on. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay this past weekend. We booked on very short notice and George accommodated graciously as though there had been months to prepare. The house is spacious, conveniently located, and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more!

Can’t say enough about George and his lovely home. We are local to AVL and rented the home for my Florida family to come up and celebrate my 40th. George was an excellent communicator, went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay and the property was absolutely perfect.

This is a beautiful home about a 20-25 minute drive to downtown Asheville. The photos are accurate and the house has a lot of space. George the owner is great, but the listing has various discrepancies. The listing said the check out was 11 AM, but we were told we should leave by 10 AM on the day of checkout. The listing says that up to two pets are allowed, but we were told that they didn’t want pets and asked to pay a fee. We have stayed in VRBO homes that have more amenities (for example there wasn’t any soap or shampoo in the showers) but given the challenges in the aftermath of hurricane Helene it is understandable that some things were lacking.I would recommend a stay here as long as you confirm in advance with the owner some of the specifics of the listing.

My three best girlfriends, their husbands and children all came to stay at this beautiful property for a week at the end of July beginning of August. It was exactly as described if not better and George the owner was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the stay before, and after as well! He is just truly a gem. The property is beautiful – there’s a little creek man-made around the front of the house that my four-year-old would not stop playing in… We saw so many creatures in the wild! Rabbits, turkey, deer even a family of bears! It was really wonderful. I would recommend this property to anyone. There was enough space to where you didn’t feel like you were all on top of each other and also were able to hang out together comfortably. The back deck was wonderful. The huge yard was amazing!
