Large house with pool and barbecue near the center of Cascais

We had a fantastic week in Cascais. The house was just lovely and perfect for us. It was everything we had hoped for. Communication with Pedro was excellent, everything was well stocked, the pool was fantastic, and location was wonderful. Thank you so much for the fantastic stay!

This is a great house for a group. We were a multi generational family and there is a separate annexe where the grandparents could go to get some piece and quiet. From the moment I made the booking Pedro, the owner, reached out and was super helpful with tips and recommendations of great local places to eat. The house is really well equipped and the terrace area is lovely and shaded so perfect for dining or enjoying a drink outside. Our kids loved the pool. We found the location was great and just a short walk into Cascais with some local shops and eateries even closer. We hope to be back again soon as we are already missing it.

Our party of 10, aged 5-74, had a delightful week in this house in July. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is particularly well equipped, with every appliance one could want and plenty of dishes and cutlery. The pool is great for kids though there is very little shallow space beyond the steps. Off street parking for 2 cars is a plus. We enjoyed barbecued meals in the dedicated area near the outdoor grill, as well as formal meals in the dining room and breakfasts in the kitchen. The 2 annex rooms (close to but unconnected to the main house) provide privacy for their occupants but are perhaps too isolated for young children if they need parents adjoining. The owners were also very helpful in introducing us to the house, recommending good restaurants and arranging maid service. All in all, we would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house, we had 3 generations and friends staying and there was plenty of room for us all. The house was really well equipped with everything we needed. The outside area and pool were lovely and picking the limes from the tree oerfect for a g&t. There is some traffic noise but this certainly didn’t detract from our stay and wasn’t a problem for us. The house is a 15 minute walk from town and there is a Lidl close by. Pedro and Maria were extremely kind and helpful hosts and definitely deserve a 5* review

We had a fantastic stay in Cascais! The house is so comfortable and well appointed. The hosts thought of everything to make us feel comfortable. The outdoor patio with its shaded vine leaves was a favorite gathering spot as was the generously sized kitchen. The kids had a blast in the pool. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

My family really enjoyed our stay in Pedro and Maria's beautiful villa. The villa is beautifully furnished and has all modern conveniences. The swimming pool is nicely fenced off which suited us because there were two small children in the party. We had Wifi and TV access which was great as the World Cup was on. (We supported Portugal of course). We were convenient to Cascais and its restaurants and although we hired cars this was not necessary. Sintra is just a short journey away by car or bus and is well worth a visit. Pedro and Maria were most welcoming and helpful and made some recommendations one of which was to visit a beautiful beach up the coast. We did this and the beach was fabulous. Some of the party went hiking and others enjoyed daily runs by the sea. Those who had not already visited Lisbon took the train in (approx 40 mins and costs just a few euro) and spent the day there. Cascais Shopping Centre is nearby for those into retail therapy. Another feature of the villa was the fruit garden with its orange, lemon, apple, pear and apricot trees. Our small granddaughter really enjoyed squeezing the fresh oranges for breakfast. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and had most of our meals outside on the nicely cool and well shaded terrace. We highly recommend this beautiful property and say 'Thank You' again to Pedro and Maria who were welcoming and helpful, respected our privacy and whom we knew were there if we needed anything. We were really sorry we hadn't booked to stay for another week. Mary and Francis Sheridan.
