Took our family to Silverthorne for our annual Christmas trip. We were very surprised with this house. It’s HUGE! So much room for all our crew and such great proximity to all the area resorts. Close to town for dinners out as well as some shopping. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area with a large group. Jake the manager was very responsive with questions about check out as well as a small issue we had upon check in.
What a spectacular home. Plenty of space for a large group, with a well stocked kitchen, and comfortable furniture. The views were amazing and only added to the mountain setting! Not to far from the town to make it easy to get out and about. Would recommend to anyone for a family getaway.
we had a family vacation with four adult siblings and their spouses (or in my case an adult son who lived not far from there who came up for a couple of days). So nice to have three of the bedrooms ensuite! All agreed that beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were not a hit. Stunning views and we saw deer every day we were there!!
House was excellent. Beds were nice. House had plenty of room to move around.
The home was in a great location with beautiful views. The 4 star rating is due to the fact that 2 of the bedrooms did not have pillowcases for the beds. Also, the carpet was stained throughout the house.
Great location, quiet neighborhood. House in great shape except for pet spots on carpet. Lots of wildlife, deer, hummingbirds. Lockbox instructions could be made less confusing.
The house sits a good distance up in a neighborhood. Everything was very clean and the outside is beautiful. We had a little red fox visit us a couple of mornings. The beds are comfortable, living areas nice and roomy and enough bathrooms for our group. We never ran out of hot water, which is a plus. We had an issue with one toilet upon arrival. The property management was quick to get someone out to fix it, although he did have to come twice. We ran out of dishwasher detergent, which I think at the price we paid should be fully stocked. The toilet paper was not the best brand, but it may have to be that way for the plumbing. Wifi worked great. The radiant heat was really nice, too. It was nice to have some supplies in the pantry and we passed along our extras to the next people staying. There was no crockpot that we could find, so I'm glad I brought one. We would definitely recommend staying at this location.
Very nice home with plenty of room for everyone, even a loft area with small balcony for those who want to be further secluded. Pros: Awesome views especially in the fall as Aspens change, Large stream with 2 waterfalls on property with two benches for relaxing, kids love to play in the stream, Jogging path well marked in redwood chips circumvents backyard through trees and over 2 bridges, Quiet location, neighbors very quiet also, can use 2 car garage fully, Great gas grill on back balcony, there is a spot for a future hot tub that would be private but not installed yet, numerous large hiking trails within walking distance of this home that take you to several of the featured peaks, be sure to visit ghost tree on a trail to the north on top of hill with awesome views and privacy too, sauce on the blue and lion cafe just down hill for all your out to eat meal needs, king beds in both main rooms, shower and jetted tub are wonderful, lots of storage spots. Fireplaces all are flick of switch easy and one in nook area keeps you cozy in early morning coffee breaks and cooler evening star gazing. plenty of deck seats for kicking back. deer frequented our stay daily in back yard. Cons: Be sure oven racks are placed into oven correctly, they fell out because previous user put them in wrong and my wife got burned, be careful!, oven by fridge is in a bad location, too close to fridge, island could have been better designed about 4 feet further away in kitchen, but is manageable. TV in main living room not connected so will have to use other rooms which worked well for us. Sliding door locks get a bit of getting used to and sliding screen doors tend to come off tracks easily. The upstairs while private could have been designed as a far larger room built over the home to the southern part with a longer deck area with no cover for sunning, just a suggestion to owner, otherwise except to bed a few extra guests its a waste of space. Overall even with ANY cons, we would stay here again. great location, amenities, and local cuisine close by are awesome. Also hiking trails close by. and it was very quiet here.
It was definitely a big enough house for my family to all meet at. I do think it could have been cleaned a little better as there were smudges on the walls that could have easily been wiped off b4 we got there and a few things left on one of the bathroom floors which makes me think they weren’t mopped. Other than that everything else was great! We aren’t super picky so it worked really well for our family. But could have used an early check in but their reason for not letting us was due to them having to deep clean for Covid standards. Over all good stay.
Beautiful home, great location. Had a wonderful time.
