Large family home w/private pool, game room & hot tub in North Myrtle Beach

Working with the staff at Thomas Vacations was a pleasure. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the location was great.

When you have a house that sleeps 24 people, you should have the equipment in the kitchen to also cook and feed 24 people. The kitchen was horribly stocked. Only a few pots and pans, chipped plates, not enough silverware, dishwashers in terrible condition, only one baking dish and only one casserole dish in the whole kitchen, no tea pitcher, no measuring cups for solids, missing two of the measuring spoons, and so on. Certainly not equipped to cook a full meal for the guests in the house. Very disappointed in that. There was no dust pan to keep the floors swept, a lamp in the den had a short in it, some outlets didn't work (3rd floor hall bathroom), some beds were not made when we arrived (sheets just laying on the bed) and one bed didn't even have a comforter. The king beds are not true king mattresses. They are twin mattresses pushed together which are extremely uncomfortable. No sofa bed as advertised. Some of the family complained about the poor quality mattress on their bed (Mine was fine) The kitchen issues were called in and someone came and did try her best to get us a few things that we needed so that was nice but we should not have had to do that. It might cost money to have a fully stocked kitchen but if you want return guests, it is surely worth it.

The house is beautiful and location is nice and close to many things. There were a few things we did not like, for example jetted tub upstairs did not work, was not cleaned very well( found rat poop on the stairs, dirty dishes in the cupboards) All and all we had a good time and the weather was beautiful. We love Myrtle beach!!

I thought that the property was great. The only issue I had was that I called for maintenance and no one never showed up. And one other issue was that we saw two mice in the property and I could not get in touch with anyone.

Beautiful property across the street from the beach. It was the perfect size for our family and friends!

The location was great for a family weekend. The house was clean one of the bathroom toilets was broken. Overall it was a good stay. Will definitely book again

We stayed for a long weekend and the place was nice. Very clean with plenty of room for all 20 of us. There were a few minor broken items with the place but overall we give it an 8 out of 10

The cleanliness of the property was not acceptable. There were 2 - 3 inch hairballs behind the doors. The refrigerator had sticky liquids spilled through out and the cabinets had food crumbs in them. The floors were sandy. The mop and broom were antiquated and I wouldn't have touched the mop head for all of the money in Cherry Grove. We cleaned when we got there rather than call... by the time a renter arrives, it is too late for housekeeping, especially in this day and time. Our trust was broken. We did, however, call for pool and hot tub maintenance. The pool and the hot tub water was brown and cloudy. There were many broken things, the slider door locks didn't work, the shower doors were off the tracks, a closet door fell on my daughter in law when she attempted to open the closet. The kitchen table was on it's last leg... literally. (we kept having to push it back under the table to support it) The bedside lamp in one of the rooms was broken and there were multiple lightbulbs out and/or shorting - blinking. The rental agency staff was pleasant and helpful. They actually refunded some money, but we will not be back to this villa!!!
