Stayed Aug 29, 2024We were a group of two families (4 adults, 14, 11, 8, 5) looking to spend some quality time together. The house was in a fantastic location, right across the road from the convenience store/supermarket and within walking distance of Cylinder and Dead Man’s Beach, and even Point Lookout. Check-in was easy and we were even able to arrange a late check out. The house had a great layout for our group - one queen room and two twin rooms (with an adjoining door) on the top floor, a queen room and main living area and kitchen on the middle floor, and large rumpus with table tennis table on the ground/entry floor - heaps of room for everybody whether to relax or have fun. The house was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, and kitchenware for large family bbqs/meals. While some aspects of the house were a little worn/tired, it was a wonderful place which met our needs perfectly.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024Seamless check in process and open communication with the property managers. We had a range of people stay with us including elderly parents, teenagers and young children. There was something for everybody! Walking distance to the shops, beaches, walks and the pub. Loved the house layout and the amenities available to use. Will be booking again!

Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Straddie House, it suited the needs of our combined families perfectly! The bigger kids loved the table tennis, the littlies enjoyed the boardgames and we all made good use of the BBQ and many lounging areas. The house is easy walking distance from the flagged swimming beach, Blue Room cafe and Beach Hotel and is literally across the road from the small supermarket. We would stay there again in a hearbeat!
