The Ponderosa Home is located near Monte Verde Lake and central to the Angel Fire Resort. This beautifully updated home comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests. With two kings, three queens, and four twin beds in four private bedrooms and two separate living areas; this home has plenty of room for everyone. One bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (four twin beds) perfect for the kids, yet large and comfortable enough for adults. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed along with an en-suite bathroom and private balcony. This home has all the amenities you will need, including high-speed wireless internet and satellite TV available in both living areas and bedrooms. The kitchen is large and open, with a center island that doubles as a breakfast bar. You can view the wildlife as you enjoy a meal at the dining room table that seats six. Step out on to the deck that extends around the house facing the lake for a breathtaking view. End the day roasting marshmallows and making s'mores with the outdoor fire pit.

    It was a very nice house and fulfilled our needs. Wasn’t pleasant to have to worry about taking the trash to another location when you’re trying to leave and have paid a cleaning fee.

    This property was everything we hoped for in a big family rental. The teens loved the downstairs room for late night games and tv. The kitchen and dining areas were perfect for preparing and serving a big group. The location was great. Just a short drive to the slopes. Deer walking through the yard daily was also amazing!

    Let me start off with the positives about this house...the location is wonderful and the house was clean! The property management company was nice but not very effective. When we arrived, the refrigerator was broken. It took the management company DAYS (half of our stay!) to fix it. This should have been checked before our arrival. That was a big annoyance, but there were other smaller annoyances. Examples - they only provided *one* kitchen towel. The bathtubs didn't have plugs provided, so it was difficult to give our kids baths. The TVs weren't connected to wifi, so we couldn't use any streaming services. There were no AC units, not even window units. So, as you can see, there were pros and cons. I love the house and the location, but I will not rent from this management company again.

    We booked this on a spur of the moment decision and it was prefect for being last minute. The layout was great for us and the kids and the location is great being only about 10min from the slopes. The Wi-Fi really only works if you’re right next to the router in the downstairs family room but worked great once you were next to it. Would stay again!
