Large 6-bedroom house with dream backyard! The ultimate getaway!

Great house for a family gathering! We were there for my son’s wedding and it was great. Plenty of room and very comfortable.

This house is great!! We used it for business purposes for end of year planning it worked out great for 5 people with the bedrooms/bathrooms along with the big kitchen & dining room and the large outdoor areas. We'll definitely be back this summer!!

Everything was great. With the exception of the fridge not working, but I was informed beforehand and we had 2 smaller refrigerators to use! We are planning on coming back next year!!

Overall great stay. The house is nicely decorated and has a nice flow. The pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently but it was still usable after we removed the leaves and debris with the tools provided. The property manager was responsive and accessible which was nice

Title: Spacious, Peaceful, and Perfect for GroupsThis property is spacious, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of room for conversation and relaxation. The quiet backyard and inviting pool area create a wonderful setting to unwind. An external speaker would enhance outdoor TV viewing, especially during football season, but the space is excellent as is. Ample parking, including Class A RV parking is a great bonus. The riveway is a bit rough, but manageable. Overall, a comfortable and tranquil retreat I would confidently recommend for group stays.

This was such a lovely place to stay. Tons of room, well stocked, and just gorgeous. It feels very secluded and like you are in your own world when you are in the house or backyard but then it is 5 minutes from tons of shopping and restaurants. It was the perfect girls weekend.

The property was beautiful and well equipped. Our host, Kevin, was very attentive and met all our needs!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay the Sweet Tea Estate very much. There were plenty of things to keep us busy and we made great memories in the Gainesville area. Positives: 1. The house and backyard were as nice in person as advertised in the pictures on the listing. Everything was clean and well maintained. The outdoor kitchen and pool area were the main attraction for our group.2. There was plenty of space for our party to sleep comfortably while also having areas to relax and hang out. The couches and bed were clean and comfortable. 3. The owner was responsive to the issues we encountered on our stay. Negatives:1. The main refrigerator was broken and unusable for the duration of our trip. The owner was unaware, so we reported the issue. We then had to be available for repair person to come to the house. There was a secondary (small) fridge in the laundry room and the owner eventually had a small fridge delivered to the garage. Again, we needed to be available for this. We ate many meals out, but this would have been a bigger issue if needed to purchase more groceries. As noted, the owner was responsive to our concerns but didn't offer any restitution for the inconvenience 2. The house rule book and requests/requirements were extensive. Labels everywhere. We understand preparing for the next guests but cleaning the grill, emptying all trash barrels, etc. under the threat of losing our deposit felt a bit extreme, especially when paying a cleaning fee.

Booked it for our daughter’s wedding weekend. It was a very nice home. It is a little quirky downstairs in the basement with the bedroom through the bedroom. But based on the people we had there. It worked fine. My only disappointment was that the outside pool and patio area was still very thick of pollen. And the pool was full of all kinds of stuff. I know this time of year can be tricky with that many trees. But definitely would use this house again if need this area again!

I had a good stay at this location. The hosts were nice and responsive. The home is large enough for a group of 12. The outdoor pool and patio is beautiful. The only issue we had was with the cleanliness of this house. There were spiders and cobwebs throughout the home. Also, the oven, microwave and refrigerators (kitchen and washroom) were dirty. We wanted to store stuff in the cabinets, however, those were not clean either. I think the host needs to reevaluate the cleaning crew that comes to clean this home. My guests complained about that which was off putting.

The home was wonderful for a big group of friends. It is spacious, well appointed, great character of space. Julie and Mark were easy to communicate with and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We highly recommend this home.

We stayed here during the winter so we didn't use what I assume to be the highlight of this house which is the outdoor recreation and cooking areas. It looked like it would be a nice place to have family cookouts and outdoor fellowship during warm weather. The 6 bedrooms is a bit misleading as there are three private bedrooms upstairs with communal sleeping arrangements downstairs.The house is located in a decend neighborhood, has plenty of parking and is close to shopping areas for supplies.

This property is very spacious and great for a large group. Location was perfect for our needs. The only thing we would have changed was that the mattresses weren’t very supportive in the masters. The shower in the main master is amazing! If it wasn’t so cold, we would have loved the backyard area.

property located 2 miles from wedding venue and 1.5 miles from downtown. Saw several deer every morning in the back yard including a 10 point buck. Very quiet neighborhood and plenty of room.

Overall our group really enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Tea house. The location is wonderful and conveniently located near downtown Gainesville and a variety of retail stores. The house accommodated everyone nicely however, the bedding, patio cushions, and first floor couches could use some refreshing.

Would definitely stay again

The property is located unassuming on hill but when you get in the home it is amazing! Clean pool and clean deck area BBQ area was very light at night but most of the host Kevin and Cristine were great! Will use this home again.

I used this property for a leadership group of 14. The house has so much space and it was meticulously clean. It was a great central location for us so that worked great. It’s not necessarily conveniently located in terms of tourist things to do but It’s the kind of place you wouldn’t mind spending a lot of time at. And it’s not super far from some great activities.

Background- We do couples and womens retreats all over the country. We have rented well over 30 properties in the last 15 years. This is the first home that literally had everything we needed! They were not only accommodating, responsive, and timely. They were over prepared. They had extra spices, toiletries, towels, ice maker, sauces, etc. The pool was cleaned while we were there and they did an amazing job. If i had anything negative it may have been that the grill was not cleaned when we arrived but this was an easy fix that i didnt even let them know about because everything else overshadowed that one thing. This home is beautiful! It was 14 women and we had more than enough room and i would not only give 5 stars i would say there are not a lot of houses that have the extra touch like they provide! It was amazing!

Our family members ranged from 2 to 87 yrs old, and the house had something for all of us! The pool was wonderful, and the outdoor “living room”was a particular favorite spot. The kitchen was spacious, with plenty of storage and two refrigerators! The location was great, with so many options for shopping and dining. We tryly enjoyed our family time in your beautiful home, and appreciate the ease of communication with you!

Perfect family get away. Amazing home and back yard!

We enjoyed the pool, outdoor kitchen, large indoor kitchen and huge dining table for card games. Great accomodations for multiple families. Having an extra refrigerator for drinks and a stand alone ice maker really helped.

We recently vacationed at this lovely property in GA hosted by Julie and Kevin. We have a somewhat large family and try to choose a new location every few years so that we can spend a week together. This home and property exceeded our expectations! We have 4 adult children, along with their families, and the home accommodated us well; it was spacious, beautiful, and inviting. We loved the large kitchen, the pool, outdoor cooking area, and various areas to relax. We were close to many attractions such as golf, Margaritaville, and some wonderful restaurants/breweries. Julie and Kevin were quick to respond to any questions we had and were very kind. We are so happy to have spent another family vacation together, in a beautiful home in which we created many fond memories! We are grateful for the hospitality and won’t soon forget our time in Gainesville.
