Large house, good for big family to share a wonderful experience in Cooperstown NY.
We had a wonderful time staying here with 2 families while our sons were at Cooperstown. The location is secluded yet convenient to Dreams Park and downtown Cooperstown. It is a comfortable home which accommodated us perfectly during our down time. The owner was extremely friendly and very easy to contact. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks again!
The owner is very friendly. The house will accommodate alot. The 6 bedrooms were really nice.
We had a wonderful vacation with our 3 generations of family. We had 6 adults and 5 kids and a great time was had by all. The house is very spacious and there was ample room for us all. The kids and grandkids loved that all 6 bedrooms had TV's in addition to the living room and loft area upstairs. There was a dual basketball hoop in the basement that the kids also loved. The yard is well kept and huge with a nice deck and grill. We played many yard games and loved the fire pit in the evenings. The house is very private and peaceful. Robert the owner was amazing and always got back to me quickly with any questions I had. Things in the area that we did and that I would highly recommend are: renting a poontoon boat for a day on Otsego Lake, having dinner or lunch at the Blue Mingo Grill which is on Otsego Lake, lunch or dinner at the Otsego Hawkeye Grill also on Otsego Lake, getting donuts or pastries at Schneider's Bakery on Main Street, mini golf at the Barnyard Swing (also have delicious soft ice cream and sundaes), visiting the Farmer's Museum, visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame, and visiting the Omegang Brewery. There are so many other wonderful places to visit and eat at in the Cooperstown Area.
This was a great home away from home. The house was very clean and extremely well stocked with everything you might need. With breath taking view it was a great peaceful and relaxing place
We had the best experience at this house. Plenty of space, great yard, and loved being so close to Cooperstown dreams park.
Beautiful views in the mountains. Kids enjoyed fire pit and making s'mores. Plenty of room. TV's in every room. Close to town.
Perfect place to stay! Our son played at Cooperstown All Star Village. This property is located about 18 miles from there (a beautiful drive) and a convenient 5 minutes away from downtown Cooperstown where the baseball Hall of Fame is located. This house is on a beautiful property, with plenty of room for kids to play outside, a cute porch, and fire pit. A large dining table is a plus when traveling with large groups, and we made good use of the washer and dryer! Plenty of beds and plenty of rooms. My middle son said his bed was the most comfortable one he has slept in! TVs in all the rooms and baseball decor in the house really makes this house great for a baseball trip! Robert was quick to respond to any questions and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay. Very convenient location to Dreams Park fields and downtown Cooperstown. The house was clean and had pretty views. The kids loved playing in the big field and burning a fire at night in the fire pit.
Our son participated in the Cooperstown Dreams Park experience. This house worked out well for us. We easily slept seven adults and one child with everyone having enough space in this multi-level house. It has 3 showers, 2 full bathrooms and one half bath, which was nice. Each room has an AC unit which worked well to stay comfortable. Fully functional kitchen and a washer and dryer available in the basement. The house is centrally located to downtown Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame) and the Cooperstown Dreams Park (@ 5-10 minutes depending on main road traffic). Close to resturants and grocery shopping. It was also on the same road as the Cooperstown Bat Factory where they make wood bats. Super fun experience for any baseball enthusiast. The house sits on a corner with a great yard. There is a cute porch, BBQ, and fire pit area. It is quiet and off the main Cooperstown road. Lots of windows and natural light in the main living area. Was very nice working with Robert and Danielle. They were very responsive to information needed prior to our trip. They made sure we had wi-fi codes and numbers to reach them anytime during our stay. Cooperstown is a very remote/rural destination. Cell service can be difficult at times and the weather very extreme, especially if traveling from the drier/less humid west coast, it was a shock for a few of us. Homes and really everything in this area is older and damp. You can tell everything takes a beating from the weather and humidity, but it is very green, lush and beautiful. That is part of the charm we found in Cooperstown. This home captured all that for us.
Loved the location! Lacey was great and very helpful. Loved the fire pit. The beds were very uncomfortable, seems like old mattresses. The light that was installed over fire pit ruined the ambience of sitting by the fire. Could no longer see firebugs and it was too bright. Didn’t see a way to turn the light off. Would be helpful to have a few more pots and pans. The grille was great! We were told a new stove was being purchased which is good. We struggled cooking on the two small burners. Overall the house was suitable for our needs. We had a great time in Cooperstown and appreciated having a quiet place to stay. Thank you for sharing your home!!!!
