We had a great family visit when we all met in Neskowin. GREAT home for families with multiple adult children. Everyone had their own room with king size, comfortable bed and many had their own bathrooms attached. It was like having multiple master bedrooms. Comfortable for everyone. The shared space was also perfect (indoor and outdoor). The kitchen was excellent for cooking for a big group with a large dining table with an unreal view. They had every kitchen utensil available…. If we needed it, they had it. I love a kitchen with two dishwashers, so handy. The beach access was fun and fantastic and we had the best view of the tide coming in and out. We learned about the ghost forest and loved the calmness of the rugged beach just steps away from the house. Beautiful. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

The location of this house is magnificent! Beds are all comfortable, great amenities. They afforded us early check in which we appreciated. Check out time of 10am is a bit aggressive but we made it. We appreciated the use of this home for our family.

I really enjoyed the jacuzzi on the rooftop of the house with a beautiful view.

view is very nice, overall it’s a good place. Hot tub above the master bedroom can be a sleep disturbance, and the carpets downstairs have seen better days. None of those issues

Gorgeous house built into cliff side right on the ghost forest beach; stunning views from balconies (on every floor) and rooftop hot tub. The access to the beach is a little bit of a scramble, might not be the best for guests with mobility challenges, but the direct access was fantastic. The hot water hose to wash off feet after beach walking was greatly appreciated! Well-appointed kitchen & large dining area to accommodate large groups. Loved our stay!

Great place. Absolutely beautiful

The view was fabulous. The house was spacious for our family of 6.The beds were comfortable.The house needs some general maixtenance and new carpets. The rental company does not provide wood for fire place. The steps to get in and out of the house are steep . Carrying wood would not be easy. It would be nice to be able to pay to have wood delivered. We were expected to remove the sheets from the bed and start the laundry before departure. This is not a reasonable requirement.

The view is stunning, all rooms have views

We had a wonderful time celebrating my big birthday with family and friends. The view is amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped. Everyone was very comfortable. The only downside is there’s too many stairs inside and outside the house. Not convenient to walk down to the beach. The balcony was perfect to gather everyone together. We had a fabulous time!

Positives: obviously the spectacular view and the size of the home. Great location and large deck. Nice Kitchen and bedrooms Hot tub on the roof was a cool feature.Opportunities: The decor was a little dated and tired for an executive level property. i.e torn up cushions on the deck chairs, broken anorandak chair, missing toilet paper dispenser, older entry-level BBQ, hot tub cover (which I realize is scheduled to be replaced) . It is fine for a basic level property but it is promoted by VRBO as high end. The rocks leading to the beach and firepit are difficult to navigate and would be inaccessible for anyone with less than 100% mobility. This should be communicated in the listing.Administration: The entire group was furstrated with the 4:30pm checkin as being unusually late for most properties. The early checkout time of 10:30am was also frustrating and felt very rushed. They were also all shocked by the requirement of starting laundry, and empty garbages throughout the home. This might be acceptable for a basic home but not typical for one that is marketed as premium.

Beautiful house and views. People with mobility issues may not be able to access the beach due to very steep steps and large rocks that even the people without mobility issues found challenging. Parking is also a challenge with a steep driveway and little room to turn around. No windows open to have a nice breeze and hear the ocean.

The home and view were amazing. The kitchen and appliances (2 of everything!).. multiple decks off bedrooms.. multiple fireplaces.. This house was over the top! The one (and only one) drawback was beach access. The beach access requires some boulder hopping (not easy for elderly). Other than that.. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with family.

We loved our stay! The house easily accomodated our big family and the views are spectacular. There were no beach toys as advertised and it was really odd that a house of this size and price did not have beach chairs or other beach things to take down to the beach. The stairs down to the beach are mostly rocks and not flat ones, very steep but the beach is well worth it. We would definitely rent again!

Great location. Well supplied kitchen. Fabulous hot tub. Impossible driveway! Very clean. Check in process was cumbersome in terms of documents needed to be signed to gain access. Only logistical issue was only one bathroom on the lower level serving three bedrooms. And steps to the beach would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Having said all that we had a full house with 16 people and one dog, which is difficult to find a house able to accommodate. This one did.

They will find things to keep your deposit, just saying. I thought I must have deserved it until I read other people having the same issues. There was dog urine/feces that I got charged for, that they said was mine. If you can find somewhere else, do it.

The location was beautiful with easy beach access. Kitchen was filled with most all amenities. Would add an electric teapot. There were just a few items we would recommend, more TP needed for 14 people, we needed to purchase additional. only found 2 spare rolls. Toilet handle and chain need replacing in bedroom #1. Overall we loved it! Thank y9ou for opening up your home.

I stayed at this property with friends to explore the Oregon coast. The house is huge with plenty of space and amazing views. The location was great. There are many trails, scenic viewpoints and grocery stores/restaurants all within a 20min drive. The house had direct access to the beach making it very convenient to explore tide pools and go on walks. We were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Two of the beds had hair in the sheets that looked like dog hair. The kitchen had a lot of leftover food from other stays, which typically is nice considering its long shelf life but we found a leftover cake in the pantry that was molding. The water pressure in the showers was very poor. If two people were showering at the same time the water would completely stop in one of the showers. I had a few questions that I messaged the owner about and never got a reply during the whole stay. Thankfully they weren’t emergencies but getting no reply was concerning. Lastly, we felt that the checkout process was a bit tedious. We were asked to put all the bed sheets in the wash. Considering the amount we paid plus the cleaning fee we were pretty surprised that this was mandatory. Overall, we had a really great time staying at this property but felt it could use some maintenance considering the amount it is listed for.

This property is amazing. Incredible views. Comfy beds. The kitchen has everything you would need. Hanging out with friends over spring break at this house was just perfect. And the people in Neskowin at the store and restaurant were an added bonus. We will stay here again.!

Wonderful home. Large enough for our big group and comfy beds!

Wonderful stay right in front of the beach with private access (with stairs). Perfect stay for large family with many rooms and extremely well stocked kitchen (lots of plates, pans, cooking ustensiles). The hot tub on the roof was a true gem and looking at the Millay way while relaxing was an amazing experience.

I have stayed here in 2020 and enjoyed it thoroughly so we came back again. Just a wonderful location and nearby is a café and store for very convenient needs. The café has wonderful food and people.

Such a stunning location and perfect house for a huge family weekend away! We had 10 adults & 6 kids (4-17) and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! The views!! House was so cozy with many of the bedrooms having fireplaces and ocean front patios! Loved the hot tub views! Kitchen was well stocked & the beds/pillows were so comfortable! Our only complaint was the communication with management…. the day of check in I had no instructions or codes and had to spend an hour with VRBO after trying to call management all morning. VRBO finally got ahold of them/management called me back. Super nice, but stated they had sent the information 3 months back and it never got signed… well I never got it 3 months prior and they never followed up with hey, we need this signed or tried to reach out leaving me to panic the morning of with zero checkin codes or contact from them, nothing. They should have noticed we didn’t sign the form, it was day of and reached out! That needs work! They then said my email was blocked from them by VRBO and that they couldn’t see it, again…. why did they not reach out to me? Why did it take me panicking day of and spending an hour trying to reach them? House was amazing… so clean, cozy and comfortable… but make sure you have check in information! Also tried asking a ? all day Saturday and management who says reach out anytime never replied… I reached out again Sunday morning and finallllly got a reply.

First impression was that online pictures were taken some time ago, due to the look of the exterior Must be able to navigate stairs to enter house and get around once inside. Half of the stairs to the beach are made of rocks, so a bit precarious. All TVs were on when we entered the house even though we were instructed to turn them all off when we left. No instructions in each room as to how to operate TVs which all seemed to work differently. One had to have a box swapped out in order to work and one had its box in a closet so in order to use remote you had to stand at entrance to the bedroom and point remote into a closet, not allowing you to see the screen. Just an inconvenience. Large kitchen windows looking to the beach were cloudy and dirty. Leak in the ceiling between kitchen and family room, where a puddle appeared on the floor. Possible slipping hazard. One deck board had a good size hole, making us wonder how stable the whole deck was. Bedroom 3 had no screen on sliding door and shower door was sagging and difficult to open, as well as outlets that didn’t work. House needs a little TLC For the price we expected better.

The last of broken things in this house is long, and the list of how you will loose your deposit is even longer. No one came to fix anything for the 5 nights we were there.

Charged rediculous fees for cleaning with a long list of requested checkout procedures, deck needs repair, driveway is extreme and hard to park, requires late check in and early checkout.

This is an amazing house right in the beach. The stairs down are a bit challenging but there are railings most of the way. If the review were about the location it would be off the chart. The house is big and comfortable, but it has issues. The first it’s been a rental for a while. The appliances are newer. The tvs are everywhere. The kitchen is robust. But……The beds in some rooms are squeaky because they are older. It’s impossible to open a window. People have commented about chipped plates but those are small issues. It’s a big grand house, in an excellent location with some deferred maintenance that takes away its luster.
