We had bad weather but loved the fireplace and luckily there was football on TV. Gorgeous views too!
We had a wonderful stay. Great accomodations for our family group of 12. The outside deck provided a great outdoor space with plenty of room and beautiful view! Everything as advertised.
Great property! Definitely recommend. Lots of space, nice walk down to the dock, clean, and nicely renovated kitchen! Property managers were very responsive and accommodating at every turn!
Great property with lots of room. Everything is as advertised. Very nice central location in the lake.
Our extended family stayed for 7 days at Lands End. We had an amazing time, beautiful home, well stocked kitchen including every appliance we needed. We cooked most meals at the house and enjoyed the private dock as much as possible. The walk down to the dock was about 7 minutes all on gravel, be careful and wear good shoes if walking. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive if you are driving though. Would recommend brighter lighting in the family rooms on the main floor. Otherwise wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this property!
This property was very pretty and secluded. It was nice because by the home there was a lot of flat land to be able to put our trucks and boat trailers. I also like how we kind of had our own place so we weren't worried about people around us. The only downfall to this home is how you get to the dock. It is a pretty steep hill that you have to have a 4x4 truck to get up and down. Also it is extremely bumpy and washed out. We got a flat tire on one of our vehicles because of how bumpy and rocky it was. They need to go in and fill the area with dirt and maybe make it a gravel road because that was the worse part. The home overall had plenty of space to relax and sleep. I liked the whole set up and it had beautiful views.
We had a great time. Boating and fishing on the lake. The house was perfect and the realty staff so friendly and helpful. Might have to come back.
We had an amazing time at this beautiful location. The house has plenty of room for large families, the kitchen has everything that you need, and the view is to die for. We spent a lot of time at the private dock swimming and fishing. We were able to catch some nice size crappie, walleye, catfish, and perch. This property is nicely secluded and at night the stars are so bright it literally takes your breath away. I can’t find enough words to describe the beauty and serenity that this little piece of heaven captures. If you love nature this is the place for you. I did research and knew that the dock was down a pretty steep hill. It’s walkable but much better if you have a truck or SUV to get up and down. If I could I would give this place 10 stars. Karen and Alice are super sweet property managers and I will definitely be back. A huge thank you to the owners for sharing their home. The pictures don’t give it justice, it’s much better in person!
Stayed last week with 4 families/3 generations and had a blast! The kitchen reno is very nice, and was supplied with every cooking tool we needed. Even had toaster, toaster oven, blender, coffeemaker, AND a Keurig!! Awesome! Will say, though, that the blender didn't work very well. We loved the two levels which allowed for our group to split up nicely by family and have enough space. The lower level bathroom reno is very nice, and loved having shower and toilet separated by a door, plus appreciated all of the available hooks to hang towels and suits; can't wait to see full reno on rest of the bathrooms. The flooring throughout the home is an excellent choice and stands up to traffic and wet feet it seems very well. Very nice for a lake home! Loved the deck, and the view of the lake is amazing! But some cushions on the chairs would be a bonus, as would some tree trimming to enhance the view. Bedrooms were clean and well appointed, but lower level bed was very hard. Also, several lamps & nightlights had burned out bulbs. Request: lamps next to bunk beds so kids don't have to walk across room to turn out light. Also, window coverings on lower level rooms would be nice :) Appreciated having full container of liquid hand soap at every sink, and full bottle of dish soap, plenty of trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper! You'd be surprised; not all VRBO's do, so thank you! The dock was extremely nice, and the swim platform was awesome! We made use of one boat slip, and also laid out our large foam swim pad we brought from home. So the cove was perfect for that, and we really loved it's location on the lake. The trek down to the dock would be the only drawback of major concern. We brought our UTV (Polaris Ranger) and it worked great and handled the trek with ease. Even though we had full size 4WD vehicles with us, we didn't feel comfortable driving them down the narrow, tree-overhanging path. The path is however totally walkable, takes about 5 minutes. I walked it a couple different times in flip flops even. So overall I give this property a 5 star for being very clean, and having the updated, well supplied kitchen, nice bathroom, amazing lake view / location, and large private dock!
House and deck were amazing. Trek down to the dock was rough on foot but in a vehicle it was doable! We will definitely stay here again
