LAMIATERRA lamia with private pool in Ostuni

We had a great stay at Lamiaterra in October half term. The days were still sunny, and we spent some time by the pool (the pool is lovely if you like a brisk swim), and spent lots of time exploring glorious Puglia. The location is excellent, 10 minutes from Ostuni, we were able to reach lots of places within an hour or less. A car is essential. The lamia is very characterful, with 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is compact but more then enough to knock up a pasta dish or breakfast. The hosts were lovely, met us on arrival, and made suggestions for places to eat. Highly recommended.

This is a very secluded country side property situated about 15 min drive from Ostuni. You definitely need a car to access it, but that wasn't a problem for us. The villa has 3 bedrooms with double beds, two kitchens and two full bathrooms. Everything was clean and fully functional. Outside there is a large covered patio area where we enjoyed many mornings and afternoons relaxing. The pool is quite long, well suited for someone that likes swimming. Water was always fresh and clean. Titti, our host was just amazing, she has catered to our every desire, and she even gave us a bottle of their own olive oil, made from the olive trees on the property. Overall great experience, would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

We (family of 5, including 3 adults children) spent a fantastic week in Lamiaterra. The historic house is nicely renovated in a very quiet countryside where you forget about the outside world. Inside living space is indeed a little bit small, although very practical, however that was largely compensated by the very large outside covered terrace where we had our breakfast and the beautiful landscaped garden. 3 rooms with large and very comfy beds. Communication with owners was straightforward via Whatsapp before and during our stay. As we were early in the season (early May), we appreciated that the owner opened up the pool a little bit earlier than usual (usually covered for the winter season until Mid May). The weather was nicely favorable for us to enjoy it. Overall excellent choice to relax and visit Puglia. Thank you.

Six of us enjoyed staying in the renovated historic building in a beautiful rural setting. We loved the countryside, the birds and the donkey in the distance. We were there 'off season' and found it a perfect site from which to explore Puglia, and also simply to stay close to home for the day. We could imagine how awesome it would be in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and patios, too.

We had a really good time at lamiaterra and really enjoyed our vacaction there. The house is very nicely renovated and has plenty of space. Our highlight was the beatiful terrace, but we also really enojyed the pool and the amazing outdoor showers. The host is very welcoming and communication with her was easy and helpful.
