Stayed Jul 27, 2025My family and I recently enjoyed 4 nights at the Raccoon Lakehouse. This property was perfect for us. The peaceful and private setting allowed us to relax and unwind. The home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The best part was watching the wildlife! The squirrels, deer and raccoons kept us entertained all day. Bryan and Dan are the best hosts! They went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Stayed Apr 6, 2024My family visited during the solar eclipse in April '24. We were searching for a spot in the line of totality and lucked out with this home. It was, hands down, the best VRBO experience we've ever had! This property is wonderful. Inside it is immaculately kept, and full of delightful, high-end touches. The kitchen is well appointed, and the furniture is all very comfortable. The showers are heavenly. There are beautiful views out of expansive windows over the lake, and the backyard has several lovely outdoor areas in which to gather to cook, read, chat, or nap. After dark there are charming cafe lights illuminating the view, and the kids loved watching the wildlife. Several times we ventured out onto the lake and had a great time paddling around. The whole property is so peaceful and secluded. It is a wonderful place to escape and relax. The hosts were generous, thoughtful, and so responsive to questions throughout our stay. We enjoyed every minute of our time here, and would gladly recommend this home to everyone we know! 11/10! Thank you so much for having us!
