Lakeside Paradise

Beautiful home and great location!

There were 16 family members in our group ranging from 1 year to grandparents. The home had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us to eat together and also play games. Our host was super responsive with any question I had. The dock and lake access was lovely. We would be happy to stay again.

Just returned from an amazing stay at this Monticello home directly on Lake Freeman. Beautifully decorated with all the necessities. Main floor king room comfy and easily accessible from main entrance. (only complaint was no closet or place to hang dress clothing on) Upper bedrooms have plenty of room and great bath as well. Son loved the separate space in lower level family room apart from his parents on the main level. Lake side decks and large table area off kitchen provided no shortage of places to enjoy the view. Especially grateful for the hosts quick response when we couldn’t locate PFD for going out to use the kayak and SUPSo much more enjoyable (and cost effective) than trying to rent 3 rooms in West Lafayette for commencement weekend. Highly recommend this home if you’re in the area.

Very well stocked and nice set up for a large group

The property was beautiful and a perfect place for our family vacation! We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at Lakeside Paradise was wonderful. The home was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. In addition, the house was very roomy and accommodated our family including 6 adults and 2 grandchildren perfectly, they even had a good collection of toys for our grandchildren. The dock was really nice and we were able to dock our fishing boat there during our stay (boat launch was about 3 miles away). On our last night there, severe weather was on the way and Aaron (owner) checked in with us to be sure we knew of the incoming severe weather and where the flashlights and things were in case we needed them. Communication was excellent and my questions were always answered quickly. We would stay at this property again when in the area!

It was difficult to find a home on Lake Freeman to house our large family. This home fit our needs perfectly. The home is beautiful and to have 2 tables that each seat 12 persons is amazing. Thank you to Jennifer and Aaron for being the perfect hosts.

This lakeside home was amazing! Lots of space for our whole family to eat together and hang out. There were lots of toys and games for the kids. The dock was great for fishing and we swam every day. We loved using the kayaks! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. I would highly recommend staying here!

The house is beautifully updated and super spacious. Kitchen is huge with lots of seating inside and out and also well stocked. We loved floating in the lake, enjoyed the upper deck for sunning and socializing and the firepit at night was great. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for guest. We would love to come back!
