Lakeside is a spacious, flowing home located on the north shores of Lake Galena

This house is spacious and was comfortably appointed for our Girls’ Getaway. The setting is beautiful with a deck overlooking the water. This is the 2nd year we have stayed here and plan to be back.

The unit was very clean, comfortable and cozy with the wood fireplace! There was only a light dusting of snow and before we even had finished coffee , a truck had arrived clearing snow......over the top service. This is our second stay here and we will be back.

Clean house

Great property, great host, easy to work with, great communication! Perfect for large groups, lots of space to spread out and large spaces to gather together. Perfect for families and friends. Highly recommend.

I believe this is our 4th time returning to this home. It’s everyone’s favorite spot for our annual Galena trip. The only negative is I wish I could bring my dog. So many positives! It’s a perfect house for hosting a big group. We love hanging out on the beautiful deck, Willi’s bar, the open kitchen, and hot tub!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very happy how well the home accommodated our group of 9 adults. With plenty of seating in the living room and the perfectly sized dining table we were all able to gather in the same room. We enjoyed our meals and the ample space to relax after. The decks and outdoor areas were lovely too. Also one of the best stocked kitchens with all the necessary items!

The property was very accomodating for our group of 10 adults. Kitchen was was well equipped with pans and appliances we needed. Loved having the large table for all to eat together and play games. Check in and check out was easy. We had a great family vacation!

Property is gorgeous and exactly how the pictures describe. I am incredibly impressed with how clean the house was and overall size. Everyone enjoyed their stay very much and I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Galena area!

My family and I enjoyed our stay on the property. The property was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Some of the utensils that we brought with us were unnecessary because the amenities outlined in the property description were accurate.The one complaint that I do have is that the balcony furniture, especially off the main upstairs bedroom, is very weathered.We had a 3, 8,10 and 12 year-old in our group of 10. The Territory Owner's club with its pool and game room was an absolute necessity when they tired of exploring Galena city limits.I would definitely recommend that first time visitors to Galena Territory plan their arrival before sundown. The roads are pitch black, hilly, and curvy. We arrived after 8pm and this made our last 4 miles to the property after leaving Route 20 a little daunting.

The rental process and the property itself were truly wonderful. Property owners were very easy to contact and responsive. The only improvement we would recommend is that the kitchen could use some additions like bowls, trays and baskets for serving food.

The house and property we're both in great shape. The house had plenty of room for the 10 of us to sleep, spend time together, and cook for the group. Would definitely recommend this property.

House was very clean. Everything was in good order and owners were so very flexible with us day of check-in.

A group of 9 adults and 2 children enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to Galena and offers use of association amenities such as the clubhouse/pools. The home layout with private rooms and ample bathrooms were ideal for our group, giving everyone their own space. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookware which facilitated us cooking in. We would recommend this property to others.

We had an amazing time for our girls weekend! We were so impressed with the house and we plan to come back next year!!

Enjoyed the beautiful and spacious property with lovely views and a quiet neighborhood. Had a lot of fun with our own happy hour in the pub downstairs. The kitchen’s ample seating made it a perfect gathering when cooking going on in the well stocked kitchen. Something special about being in a hot tub outside in the crisp air of winter. Emily and Kevin were responsive to our questions and needs. Had a great time shopping in Galena. Highly recommend.

House was perfect for our group of twelve! Kitchen very well appointed! Plenty of seating and room to spread out. Beds were awesome! Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great home for our family Christmas get together. Very spacious. We selected this home because each bedroom had their own bathroom.

The house was very accommodating to a large family gathering. Living fairly close to this location we had people coming and going and always had plenty of room for food and games. Some went skiing, some went downtown Galena and others just enjoyed the house, resort and each others company.

We rented this home for a sibling reunion. One of the reasons we chose this home was that each bedrooms had their own private bathroom. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The layout worked well for us. One thing I would recommend is bringing your own spices, seasonings & tin foil.

Plenty of room for our large family. Great views. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub.

Six of us enjoyed our stay! Spacious rooms and wonderful hot tub, thank you! A couple oddities were the main floor showers weren't intuitive to turn on and stumped us, and the rules stated we needed to use plastic glasses in hot tub but there weren't any. Also would've been nice to have a few basic staples like Pam spray or oil, etc.

overall impression very good. Main floor bedroom with attached sitting room had one floor vent that was putting out warm air when the A/C was being used - had to close that vent entirely to keep the warm air out.

Long weekend with old friends. The house is very accommodating for a large group. A lot of space, beds, bathrooms. It could use some updating. I few things didn’t work properly and outside maintenance was needed. It was very clean and plenty of amenities.

Our group of 9 women who all attended college together, gathered this year as we are all turning 70! The house was lovely and met all of our expectations with lots of space to spread out or gather as a group. We would highly recommend it!
