Awesome house for a stay at the lake
The property was very nice. You can tell that they have worked hard to make it a comfortable place to stay. In the photos, there is a gas grill but upon arrival, there is not one. This was disappointing as we were suppose to bbq for dinner. The road go get to the house is rough terrain but can be done by any car.
Our family had a great time in this spacious house. Things were clean and well equipped. We inquired about a couple kitchen items and the host brought them over within several hours! There was plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 3-yr olds. The living room and kitchen are spacious. The deck is great! The kids loved the toys and pool table. We all loved the proximity to the lake and the kayaks and life-jackets that were provided. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the setting instead of being in town, but groceries, etc. were only half an hour away. The only challenge was the rough gravel road in the last stretch to get to the house. But it was worth it once we got there.
The property was as described in the listing - on the lake and very quiet. Kayaks were great, had a lovely time with those in the cove. The paddleboat was in poor/fair shape, a cover may help with this, but not a big deal. WiFi was working, so the listing needs to be updated for this. Kitchen was well stocked but we were surprised there was not a pizza cutter. Lack of laundry was a bummer but if you know before you go, all is well.
Could use access to washer dryer as was pictured in the listing. Extended stays like we had that is needed. Also need availability to more toilet paper. We had 6 people which was on my reservation. Larger coffee pot as well. Great place though with great views of the lake.
We had a family get together with 6 adults and 2 children. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group and the communal areas were great. Close the lake and just secluded enough to have plenty of privacy. A ver comfortable and clean place.
Really enjoyed staying here. Nice to enjoy the lake and fire pit.
It was a blast for my family of 5 and my in laws. My son loved the paddle boat. We came to visit Branson and ended up spending more time at the cabin than anywhere else. I would have liked washer and dryer access. (Kids are messy.) But overall it was beautiful!
Communication was great. We had a great time.
My husband and our two teen daughters stayed here at the beginning of August 2022. The home itself is cozy and very clean and the lakefront location was awesome, especially with all the kayaks and paddleboats. The cove the home is situated on is very quiet, water is very nice, not a lot of activity or boat traffic during our stay. We quite enjoyed just floating along in our little inner tubes. And we did enjoy this home and our stay. Normally I would leave it at that... but I feel it is important for folks to know a few important things. 1. This property is isolated, meaning the road you travel on to get to this property is 7 miles of twists, turns, and hills. If you suffer from carsickness, this is not the property for you unless you intended to stay at the property only during your stay and only leave when you head home. 2. This property does not have WIFI and the family room television gets very few channels. The satellite for this TV faces the wrong direction so it doesn't pick up much. 3. The two mattress upstairs (including the master bedroom) need to be replaced. It feels like solid concrete. If you have back issues bring a foam pad.
Nice little home and beautiful property right on the cove! It was exactly what we were looking for (two families with children). The house had all the accommodations you could ask for and more, including kayaks, pedal boat, grill and more! There is a little hill to the water but manageable…just remember a good pair of water shoes! The view at sunrise can’t be beat!
We had a great stay at this property! There was plenty of space for our family of 8 with the 4 bedrooms. The pool table got lots of use by the kids during our down time and the girls loved the lake access for swimming and taking out the kayaks and paddle boat that were there for our use. The access down to the lake was pretty steep and rocky, so no barefeet down to the water tho! We played corn hole, used the charcoal BBQ and sat around the fire for smores one night...all the relaxing vacation stuff we like to do! We did run into a couple maintenance issues during our stay, but our hosts were super quick and accommodating and went above and beyond to attend to the issues. Nothing that interfered with the stay, and again, they did more than necessary to rectify the issues. Overall, highly recommend! Just one more note as a heads up...the gravel road getting down to the house was pretty bumpy and narrow, but just go slow and no problem!
The entry was super simple! This house was clean and smelled amazing when we walked in. They also had a cute little set up for s’mores on the kitchen table and had some condiments in the cabinets and fridge. The layout was open and worked well for us. There were some cons — there is a nice man who lives next door that was given permission to use the equipment and lake access. He was very polite but left multiple strings with hooks, his chair and fishing poles at the lake shore access. There was also broke beer bottles at the shore line, as well. Having kids trying to swim, it was definitely a concern. The beds were much less than superb. The k-cup coffee maker didn’t work properly. The house is also about 30-40 mins from anything. The house is located on a rough gravel road. The pros outweighed the cons - the deck was amazing and the view of the lake was great! It worked well for our party of 9.
This house was perfect for accommodating 6 of us, with room to spare. It had most everything needed for the stay and even had the s’mores stuff waiting for us. The cove location was peaceful and relaxing.
We had a wonderful time staying at this Home. It was perfect for our needs.
Was a great place will definitely stay again
Quiet alcove property with quick access to water. We brought our kayaks and the property had 2 kayaks plus 2 paddle boats. Saw deer and other wildlife. Very serene. Away from the traffic of Branson but only a 25 minute drive to all attractions. Only drawback was no washer or dryer acces like we are used to with a VRBO. Our contact was quick to answer any questions.
The home was beautiful and it was a peaceful place. Just not having internet or at least good cable, not having assess to washing clothes in case of emergency of spills or other, and road into the house it's too dumpy. It was raining when we stayed so the gravel was coming apart. But other than that it was lovely.
NICE CLEAN AND EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED,EVERYONE LOVED THE PLACE AND RIGHT ON THE WATER..ONLY SMALL GLITCH THE LIVING ROOM TV HAD A BAD COAXIAL CABLE THAT DIDNT ALLOW ANY TV RECEPTION,AND THE YOUNGER ONES DIDNT HAVE WIFI..BOTHE DID NOT DETRACT FROM OUR STAY...WILL RENT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE...DON NOLEN AND FAMILY
When the ad said waterfront, they were not kidding. This house was completely complementary to our stay, the site contact emailed us a few days before our stay to make sure that we did not have any special requests. The water was literally right out the back door and a quiet reserved Cove specifically for our family enjoyment. No better place to stay.
When we got to the house to check in, we noticed that one of the fishing poles offered up by the homeowners was broken. However they left us an amazing s’more’s packet complementary for our stay. When I reached out to the site contact they responded within minutes and offered a solution! Will definitely be staying again!
