The place was very clean, well-equipped, and well maintained. Management/communication was excellent, and the location is super convenient—very close to Heavenly and easy access to nearby shopping and essentials. We’d happily stay here again!

We're a family of 4 with two teens (boy & girl) that require their own space. The property was, clean, well stocked and great access to the main office for pool and hot tub. Location was also great, easy access to food shopping, pharmacy, and restaurants. They are all within walking distance or a very short drive. Finally, easy walk to the water to take in the great views.

Reviewer Comments: This is our second time renting one of their properties and still never disappoint with their very well communicated response and appreciation with all the information provided. We stayed for 10 days during Christmas break that fulfilled our expectations and needs like it is at home. They even include Christmas Tree bundle and had it up all ready before our arrival! That was very sweet!! We loved it here and it was like a home sweet home away from home. Thank you!!!!

Overall the stay at Lakeland Village was great! The location of the property allows for majority of things to be in walking distance (grocery store, food, trails, etc.), the private lake access and pier was perfect for our family with small kids! The property itself was nice, there was plenty of space for us to not feel crowded. It was hard with two different sets of staircases and both bathrooms being on the first floor opposed to the living area and kitchen being in the second. It was manageable though with some baby gates. There was no AC but the property had ceiling fans in all the rooms and multiple portable fans which helped a ton! The RNR & Lakeland Village Staff were awesome! They checked on us throughout our stay via text and were quick to respond. One of the smoke alarms started beeping due to a low battery and they had it replaced within a few hours with minimal interruption to our day. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Again, the overall stay was great and we enjoyed our first family vacation in South Lake Tahoe!

Would make more sense if the .5 bath were on the 2 level.Great location, short walk to the beach, parking was easy. Plenty of linens and kitchen utensils.

Close to everything South Lake Tahoe and walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and of course the beach! Will definitely be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean except for some food crumbs left under coffee table in living room. Toaster needs replacing and older Me.Ciffee - coffee maker can definitely use an upgrade! Keirugs are not that expensive! The main complaint is the creaky floor boards in the dining kitchen walkway. People trying to sleep downstairs are subject to load creaks above their heads for those early risers making coffee and watching tv on the main floor . Thirdly the bathtub /shower combo should be looked at. When standing directly beneath the shower head ( front part of tub) it creaks with sound of wood perhaps cracking beneath it. Would hate to have someone fall through that floor! Overall we enjoyed our first time stay at Lakeland Village but likely will call property direct in the future as we could have saved nearly $300.00- they had a Threebee offer- stay 2 nights third night free and we then could have used the Lakeland shuttle. Very bummed when told that service was not available to us!
