Lakeland Village #481 - Family Footprints by the Lake-Sleeps 10

The place was near everything I wanted. The only downside was the windows are not sealed well, so we could feel a draft. The heating was sufficient to keep up though.

Great spot! Close to bus stop, great views from hot tub, easily fit a large group.

It felt like home away from home. Everything you needed to cook and entertain your family was provided in the condo.

Plenty of sleeping arrangements! Worked out great for our 8 adults and 3 infants. The main living area is a bit snug for ten people and the table accommodates six people but we did find the two extra folding chairs…but, we brought our own as it wasn’t listed in the description. The kitchen is very snug for “up to ten guests”…and I would have loved to have larger bowls, pots and pans for this many people. A big suggestion would be to have a shelving unit, possibly on wheels for your convenience to move out of the way when needed…right in front of the furnace door for guests to put their food items. We scrambled trying to keep our snacks/dinner items organized in an already tight area. Thank you for all the fans throughout…it did get pretty hot in the unit by day but was comfortable at night. The amenities on the property were awesome! Pools great! Beach great! All in all, we had a great family reunion.

The unit is comfortable for our group of 7. Plenty of rooms for us to spread out and have some privacy when desired. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen is challenging. The cookware is not good. There were exactly 8 plates so we ran the dishwasher often. There were just a few spices in the cabinet. Usually when I’ve stayed at a property I’ve found it to have more basics. No crockpot or ice maker. The pantry area is locked so there’s no where to put groceries except on the counter In general I felt like the owners kept too much locked away from the guests. There wasn’t a deck of cards, games or extra blankets or throws. Because of this you really didn’t get a welcoming feeling.

We enjoyed our stay at Lakeland Village, the property was a perfect fit for our needs, and we will stay here in summer as well

The home is a nice size, depending on the time of year I would not plan on using the top level loft as the temperature up there can get very hot in the summer. The homeowners have the kitchen pantry locked and there is nowhere to put any of your groceries except in the counters which was an inconvenience. Overall the the house is fine, it’s very loud in the main downstairs bedroom you can hear every single step movement from room above.the home did not feel well maintained.. The windows are very hard to open and some were so covered in dirt and dust that you wouldn’t want to attempt to open. The downstairs bathroom was not cleaned well the shower rails had mold and the towel rack kept falling off holders.

Check in went smoothly- we had a small maintenance issue come up and they had someone out ASAP- is repair was not need for us to enjoy the unit but RNR was very responsive.
