Lakeland Retreat: Private Heated Pool & Yard Games

Everything was outstanding. The place is pristine and has everything that you would need. The decorating was so well done and it was spotless. It felt like a true vacation. The pool was very warm and the whole backyard is nice and private. This is the nicest place we have stayed and we have stayed in a lot of five-star places! It is just down the street from the lake and everything is in close proximity. We truly enjoyed our stay!

This house was great! We were visiting our daughter at Florida Southern and it was very close to the school. It has everything you need and many extras! Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood and a great backyard area. We will definitely stay here again.

This home truly stands out for one big reason: every single detail was thoughtfully considered.From the moment we walked in, it felt like the owners had anticipated our every need. The kitchen was stocked with every gadget and utensil imaginable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows, towels, and cozy throws throughout the house. We especially appreciated the little touches—board games, local guides, a great home gym in the garage , beach gear, and a binder with clear, friendly instructions for everything from the Wi-Fi to the coffee machine.Outside, the patio and grill area were pristine, and the owners had even left out bug spray, sunscreen, and pool towels. It’s clear this isn’t just a rental—it’s a home that’s been prepared with genuine hospitality.If you’re looking for an home away from home in Lakeland. - look no more - book it without hesitation!

This home was everything we hoped for and more! Beautifully furnished, spotless, and incredibly comfortable for our group of 7. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and the thoughtful touch of snacks and coffee waiting for us—especially after our late arrival—was so appreciated.The pool area was a dream! We spent our days lounging and relaxing before heading out to our big event. It truly felt like our own private oasis.What made the stay exceptional, though, was the host, Annie. She was hands down the best host we’ve ever had—sending a warm welcome, keeping us informed, and responding immediately when we had a minor issue. Her hospitality made all the difference.The location was also ideal—just a short drive to downtown and steps from beautiful Lake Hollingsworth.We can’t wait to book this gem again!

This property is just superb! Extremely clean, all the ‘things’ plus more. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend! 5/5 Plenty of towels, kitchenware, cleaning production, supplies, games, and the best part…if you have a request the host wants to know so they can add it.

First impression was amazing place. My husband is a tv person and loved the framed tvs. Had all necessary cooking items. Was the perfect place. will definitely visit again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this home that is tastefully decorated and stocked. The pool is charming and quiet. At the end of the street you are at a lake where the walls are delightful any time of day. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant stay!

We stayed for a week as a group of 5. It is rare to find a rental with good beds/sheets/and basic items lately, so this was really appreciated as we had long days of work at a local event. It is a great location as well. Looking forward to staying again.

Our 10 day stay was perfect in this vacation rental. Well done decor, and owners have stocked it so well. Probably, the best property we have stayed in….I highly recommend!

Let me begin by saying this property was amazing! Arguably the best at which we have ever stayed. Rating on VRBO was a 10. If we could rate it higher we would. Annie, the host was the greatest! She was gracious , hospitable and accommodating. She was easily accessible via text and always responded quickly. The property was perfectly located for us, near Florida Southern College and short walk to lake Hollingsworth. It was completely and thoughtfully apportioned and stocked. Most important to us, it was immaculately clean and neat. We did a lot of cooking while there and the Kitchen was well stocked and equipped. Little things like a full set of SHARP knives, air fryer/toaster oven, drip/kureig coffee maker were available. Linens and towels were clean, fresh and plentiful. The property itself was clean and really just perfect!! For example, I commented to the host on how beautiful the hardwood floors were and how tastefully the property was decorated.The pool, though unheated and only 3' deep proved a real treat for granddaughters. They loved it. The yard toys were used and greatly enjoyed. There were indoor toys for the children and plenty of TV's.I could go on and on about this property! We would and if it works will stay here again!!Suffice it to say, it was amazing and we so thankful we found this property.Charlie and Kathy Carter

Our family of 3 really enjoyed our stay at this house. It’s just as shown in the photos. Very comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. Very comfortable beds. The owner was very responsive and pleasant as well. And it was great to be within walking distance of the lake and a wonderful playground!

This home is truly a gem! Beautifully decorated, well stocked and easily the cleanest home we've ever rented! Perfect sized home for our family (5 adults); all the beds were very comfortable; the gathering areas (inside and outside) had plenty of seating. The host was very communicative and made sure we had a seamless rental experience. The wading pool (with towels included), lawn games and weight room were nice additions to our stay. Location is great - very nice neighborhood, close to walking trails and downtown Lakeland. We will definitely be staying here again very soon!!! Highly recommend this home!!!

Our grandkids loved the pool. The house overall is extremely well appointed, with well stocked coffee and kitchen utensils. The location is very quiet and close to every site worth visiting in Lakeland.

Property was exactly as described. Annie, the owner, has thought of everything you could need when away from home and was incredibly responsive and helpful through our entire stay. My kids were thrilled to find a supply of toys and puzzles and she left us an amazing array of pastries and snacks as a welcome gift. The pool was perfect for the hot Florida weather. I would absolutely want to stay here again if I were ever returning to the Lakeland area.

You will be absolutely spoiled when you stay here. Annie is the best hostess we’ve ever had in any of our vacation rental experiences. The home is clean, well decorated and stocked with anything you could need The attention to detail in making guests comfortable is unmatched. The proximity to Lake Hollingsworth is fantastic and we were able to enjoy activities in Tampa and Orlando too.
