Lakehouse on Lake Barkley

Rooms were clean for the most part, game room was enjoyed all age groups. Kitchen had limited pots and pans and what was there was not large enough for a large group of people. When I tried to contact host about the fireplace not working I got no response. There was also an open outlet by one of the bunk beds, we put cardboard over it to keep the kids safe.

The house was absolutely beautiful. Well equipped and spacious. Plenty of bedrooms, towels, blankets,etc. My Grandchildren loved the downstairs game room. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare big meals. Very clean and a quiet retreat.

The property was really nice and had everything we needed for a great week. We will definitely be back in the future.

The house was very accommodating. Beautiful home. There were a few things we found broken upon arrival that I messaged the owner about. Nothing that bothered our stay but just wanted to fyi so we would not get blamed. House seemed clean but did notice lots of dust on the bunk beds. We also had found millapeads in 2 showers. Overall we had a great experience and will book with VRBO again.

We had our entire family of 22 ranging in age from 3-62 and all had a great time. I knew from the listing it was large, but pictures didnt acutely portrait the size. It was huge, and even with that many people there was plenty of space. The kids loved the bunk room. We also loved that the two dining areas and bar meant that everyone had a spot for big family dinners. The large screened in porch was another huge plus. We used the fire pit a few nights and appreciated having that. The kids spent lots of time in the water, even though it was a little murky for my taste. It was also difficult to get out of the water as there was no ladder on the dock. We had brought a swim pad and the kids had a blast on that. We loved the neighborhood. It was pretty isolated and that's what we wanted. If you like nature the setting is beautiful. We saw deer in the yard several times. All in all it was a great stay, and the house was perfect for our family.

We enjoyed this stay so much. This house is great for a large group. The screened-in deck was perfect for late-night conversations without bugs! We brought multiple families and everyone had their own space with a large kid room that was perfect for them feeling independent. The house was sell stocked with everything we need to cook for this many people with ample places for everyone to sit and enjoy food. The dock was great for swimming and was far enough away for us to feel safe with the kids. The water there is quiet. Does have lots of sticks so we were glad we skipped bringing the boat. I was able to enjoy quiet paddle boarding while there. Short drive to the town if you need to pick any last-minute things up.

Large and spacious rooms. Never felt crowded. Everything we needed was there. We have so much fun.

Thanksgiving weekend with family 15 of us. Overall fine. But comfy chairs in living area would be nice. Plenty of cooking stuff. Could really use 2 refrigerators. Beds were not comfortable. There were no heavy blankets. Overall we loved it.
