We loved our little lakefront getaway! It was quiet and clean, exactly as described, perfect for our Spring Break reset. Host was very communicative, as well, and offered many helpful suggestions for local activities. Would rent again!

Matt was very helpful and communicative starting before our trip, and provided lots of useful information to make our stay an enjoyable one. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the setting is beautiful right on the lake with lots of activities nearby, even though it was just after the end of the summer season and pretty quiet in the area.

We loved everything about this place, will return soon!

What an amazing property! We couldn't have been happier with our stay and can't wait to come back. The host was extremely communicative and helpful, the property had everything we needed for a family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids under 7) and a dog.

This was our second visit & it was just as beautiful as last time. We spent most of our time paddle boarding and on the beach. The hot tub is always a favorite of the kids! The cottage is always clean and cozy. Thanks again for a great family vacation!

Had a wonderful trip celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday. The house had everything we could have needed to make memories. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools, the sleeping arrangements were great and comfortable. Laundry facilities were available on site. Having the pier and the beach was a definite plus! All visitors were pleased with the stay and would rebook! Thank you for being so welcoming!

Host is very organized and helpful, making your stay as comfortable as possible. House was extremely clean and on a quiet, private road. Perfect for a two family get away to Deep Creek Lake.

We come to deep creek every February and this is by far the best house we have ever rented. Cozy, clean and dog friendly. We loved it and will definitely be back again! Owners definitely take pride in their home and it shows.

We had a great stay! Location was perfect - quick 15 minutes to Wisp. Cozy well-appointed house with all the necessities. It was snowy and very cold that weekend, but the wood stove and hot tub kept us nice and warm. Matt was easy to work with and we felt very welcome! Hope to return to explore the lake in the summer.

We stayed for the week of Christmas. 8of us total. Plenty of games, dvds and even a wii provided. Very comfortable place.

Had a wonderful time at this ranch style lakeview home. Had all the amenities we needed! Host/0wner easy to communicate with a nicely priced! Highly recommend!!

We had a relaxing get away with our 2 fur babies. The house was very clean with comfy beds and a very well stocked kitchen. Our fur babies loved playing in the leaves. We had hoped to see a bear, but that didn't happen. We enjoyed daily visits by the deer who were eating the pears. We really liked the area of the lake the house sat on.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was cute, had everything we needed including a beautiful view! Our dogs loved the large yard. I hope to be back someday.

We sisters enjoyed trail hiking, relaxed in the hot tub , cooking in the well equipped kitchen and visiting the historic town of Oakland. This cottage was clean and comfortable!

Stayed from Sunday-Wednesday, mid-September. We had a great time. Beautiful view of the lake from the backyard with lots of sitting areas available. It was a bummer that the water level was so low, but that’s nature for you! The area is so quiet. We were def able to relax and chill

We enjoyed staying at this property very much. The Lake was very low. Matt had mentioned there could be variation in water levels. We were not prepared for the dry dock. Swimming was not even possible. The neighbors’ water depth was fine. I presume this was due to the placement of the house on the cove. The house and amenities were wonderful. Great communication and information provided. Lovely view.

The house was clean, the hot tub on the large deck with ample seating and the fire pit make the back yard a destination with a view. Beds are awesome and the water is hot! Kitchen was well equipped. The overall experience was great! Thank you Matt!

Our family enjoyed two days here. Our dog was in heaven chasing the ball into the lake and in the backyard. The house was comfortable and perfect for hanging out when it rained and we played games. We also enjoyed a cozy campfire our last night. The area is beautiful. Spent one morning hiking along Swallow Falls and enjoyed an afternoon in a pontoon boat. The location of the house is nice and quiet, with no major nearby. Matt was incredibly responsive and helpful with the checkin process. Went very smoothly. Only disappointment -- we didn't see a bear!

My family and I stayed at this very quiet property, all you could hear was beautiful sounds of nature. The housewas comfy, cleaned, well stocked, just a few steps from to the lake. We really enjoyed our time here and hope come back again soon!
