Garfield, Arkansas
Start your next adventure and step into Cedar Cove Cabin, our picturesque 3-bedroom plus loft lodge in the rolling landscape of the Ozark Mountains, where you'll be greeted with incredible views through floor-to-ceiling windows flanked by cedar and natural Ozark stone throughout. Our carefully designed lakefront retreat is the quintessential outdoor getaway for any season. Play on the lake or relax in our large hot tub & Finnish sauna right on site. Perfect spot for families or friend's retreat!
Cedar Cove Cabin is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy your meals together around the dining room table, breakfast bar or take it to the back deck for an epic barbecue on the charcoal grill.
After hiking through the Ozarks or bike riding down the hills, decamp to the family room for a movie night with streaming video or our large library of DVD's. This comfy space includes a 50 inch Smart TV with streaming access and live TV via Youtube TV, Netflix and WiFi. Play on the lake, swim in the cove or relax in our large hot tub (with non-chlorine system; 54 jets; recliner; waterfall; lighting system; seats 5 to 6) and Finnish sauna right on site. Cedar Cove Cabin is central to many of the adventures found under Arkansas' expansive skies and perfect for family fun, couples' retreats, visits to Eureka Springs(about 45 mins away) or Branson, MO (about 1.5 hours away), and other nature activities for up to 12 guests.
Or pour some hot cocoa and gather around the Great Room's wood fireplace (we supply the wood-be frugal), looking out the windows at the tree covered landscape. It's especially idyllic when snow is falling softly! Arkansas, the Natural state, is where rolling hills meet the Ozark Mountains, and we tried to capture that in our decor, using classic rustic details and natural flourishes to complement the panoramic views from each window.
Teens and children love the professional foosball table in the loft. Make s'mores or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. So yummy! Enjoy your morning coffee resting on the Adirondack chairs on the deck while you watch birds and deer cross your path before you attend your business zoom meeting or just relax for the day. You can rent boats at Lost Bridge Marina and there is a private boat launch only a few blocks from the cabin.
Bedrooms include an oversized master with a queen bed and comfy pillow top mattress; second bedroom with two queen beds. Bedroom three has a trundle bed with 2 twins that open into a king. The loft has a queen, lush futon bed. The master has an ensuite full bathroom shower and so does the loft. The ground level bathroom has a tub/shower combo. With three full bathrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to keep up before hitting the lake or taking a trip into Eureka Springs or Branson. Base rate is for up to 6 guests. There is an additional charge of $11 per person per night for each additional guest up to a maximum of 12 total guests.
Guests may access the entire house.
Located directly on Beaver Lake at Lost Bridge Village(so clear divers congregate here in this blue-green water) you'll have plenty of space for spreading out and enjoying the fresh mountain air in privacy. Get ready to take in clear night skies full of brilliant constellations from the back-deck hot tub— whether it's a cold winter night or a fresh summer evening. Enjoy the lake therapy offered by the Finnish sauna right next to the hot tub. Or, go for a swim right in the quiet cove only a short, easy stroll down a meandering path surrounded by tall oak and cedar trees right to the water's edge. Be sure to watch for deer, chipmunks and squirrels!
We supply firewood to burn in the fireplace and fire pit but if you intend to burn a lot you should bring more. Save some for others. There is a community pool. If you intend to use it contact us for instructions. There is a neat cafe on Hwy 62 as you turn off to go to Lost Bridge called Short Stop. They are known for their gigantic soft serve ice cream cones. Their food is very good, too. The menu is burgers, fried chicken, daily specials, etc. This is the nearest gasoline station and convenience store. Nicer restaurants, fast food and grocery stores are in Rogers, AR which is about 30 minutes away. This is the closest spot to buy groceries prior to arrival. Eureka Springs, AR is about 45 mins away and Branson, MO is about 1.5 hrs. Crystal Bridges is about 40 minutes away. There's plenty of playing just on the beautiful Beaver Lake and sight seeing to keep you busy. See our Guidebook for more ideas.
The closest marina is Lost Bridge if you are driving. If you are boating then Starkey Marina is closest. You can rent boats from Lost Bridge Marina. The closest boat launch is about 3 blocks from Cedar Cove Cabin. If you don't leave your trailer at the launch you can park it in front of the cabin but make sure it is off the street and within the markers; so, not to trespass. When we bring our 22 foot pontoon boat we tie it to a tree. We have never had a problem.
This is a lake setting with abundant nature and wildlife to see but the cabin offers most amenities you have at home. The walk down the meandering path to the lake is gentle. There are some rocks and stones along the way. You are in the Ozark Mountains. Within Lost Bridge Village near the house you may walk or ride bikes. You would need a vehicle to get around long distance. There is no public transportation close by. Of course, a boat is a definite plus if you intend to cruise the lake.

A stunning property! The home is gorgeous, the landscaping is beautiful. I wish I had booked the home for a longer period of time.
Went to the mountains to see snow. A little early in the season but we saw it the day we left! We are from Tampa,Fl and it was really beautiful to see. Was surprised that there was only one TV in the entire home, but it actually brought us together. Owner was always available. Highly recommend
Great experience. Stayed here with my wife and adult son over Christmas. Great value.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the view, peaceful environment and surroundings as well as a stunning home retreat. As listed, the driveway is a bit steep but luckily it wasn't any problem for us. The home was fully equipped with kitchenware, the bathrooms had complimentary shampoos and the third level had a lounge/game area. The amazing sauna was by far one of my personal favorites and so very relaxing with the view looking down to the lake. My husband hooked and caught a monster Striper too! We will definitely be coming back! Communication with the owners was on point and the questions or inquiries I had were quickly responded to.
Crickets and bugs all over inside, one trash bag, and a few toilet paper rolls (be prepared to buy it), in the driveway is completely horrible. We would stay somewhere else the next time we came! House overall was mediocre.
A perfect place to stay when you’re looking for peace and quiet.
Great time, wonderful house. Everything we needed in the house. Short walk down to lake. Sauna that was absolutely relaxing everyday!
Beautiful views, beautiful cove, ample amenities, couldn’t ask for better! Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Great place and location on lake. Beautiful surroundings and lots of scenery. House was great and enjoyed the spiral stairs and different levels to hang out . Would definitely come back . ??
Overall the property was very good. Great location, clean, for the most part accurate to the listing. Feels a little disingenuous to ask guest only provide 5 star ratings in the information packet. Property requires you to wash and dry towels which I have never experienced in a rental before. Don’t get me wrong this property is very good, but wouldn’t classify it as great or excellent. Grounds maintnence (trash on property and leaf litter in common areas) was a miss and hot tub had quite a bit of debris in it (I cleaned it as well). Interior isn’t as spacious as it would appear online. In the end my star rating is a factor or value for cost of rental and this one left much to be desired.
Took all the grandbabies. Great property!
Very nice weekend retreat.
This is a beautiful property with plenty of room to hang out. The stairs are not small children friendly and the driveway is very steep. Beautiful and lots of fun!!
Very comfortable space with many amenities. Great view. I even saw a bobcat being chased by a murder of crows.
Great time at this property.
My family and I had a great time. The area was very scenic and beautiful. There were deer and other woodland creatures around. It was so close to the lake, we could walk right down to it or drive to the Lost bridge Marina, which was close by. We loved it.
This house offered so much for relaxation and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Yes, the drive way was steep (and a tad bit scary) but totally manageable. The house was very clean and had all the supplies we needed . The rental had coffee and filters along with other condiments that others had left. We shopped for groceries at Walmart in nearby Rogers. The hot tub was totally relaxing but we did not try the sauna. We saw lots of deer in the neighborhood. We went to Eureka Springs almost everyday which took us about 45 minutes each way. However, staying at this house was worth the drive. I did have to call the owner when I first arrived as I was looking for the wrong address. He was very nice, told me what to look for (correct number on the mailbox), and had the grace not to laugh at me! ? We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
This place was perfect! Setting was beautiful, house was really cool. We all really liked the 70s A frame vibe, really felt like a lakeside getaway. The house was immaculate, well stocked, and had great amenities. Owner was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!
