Lakefront paradise with amazing views, washer/dryer, & central AC

The house, patio and yard are wonderful. Everything was clean and well maintained. The house sits at the top of the bluff, which makes getting down to the lake a bit challenging. It starts with paved switchbacks then turns into steep wooden stairs - and LOTS of them. The stairs would not be easy for young children or older adults.

Nice place but I would not stay again. Me and my fiancé (recent cancer survivor) hoped to be on the water. The 4-5 minute very steep hike to the water was excruciating for her to endure. The shower drains do not work well.

1. Frustrated that there was no garage access to store our golfing equipment while not in use. 2. The property had no outdoor grill. We’ve been coming to BV for 15 years, first time this ever happened. 3. The property was listed as having the ability to sleep 6 people…..clearly not true. There was one decent bed; one of the other 2 was a duvet of some kind, while the other was uncomfortable. 4. The lake was not very accessible due to the steepness leading to the water. Over all the years that we have been visiting BV, this property was the least value for the money we spent. Honestly, we felt a bit cheated. You got to us, it won’t happen again. I suggest advertising this property with honesty as opposed to misdirection. Rob D.

The house was excellent. Beautiful setting, great screened in porch, large dining table to play games. However, 4 decks off the back of the property with not a stitch of even a plastic chair! What’s the purpose of having a nice patio/deck off of all bedrooms but not have any furniture to enjoy them? There was both a locked storage shed & locked garage, but no way to access them. Also, the view was beautiful but the walk down to the water was quite long & steep.

Front Screen Door didn't close. Sliding Doors to screened in porch one side didn't open at all and other side was all most impossible to open. Fridge Ice Maker didn't work - had to buy ice Didn't have beach towels available - even though site stated they did Kayak's were locked - did get combination Outside picnic area had broken timbers with nails sticking out Living Room Furniture, old and had a bad smell Outside pictures are very deceiving. Gazebo is a long winding cement path and 42 steps with no hand railing on either side. Gazebo had cobwebs and trash in it. Dock was nice, but you have 45 (steep, 45 degree angle) steps to get to it from the Gazebo. The 45 steps do have hand railings but are very old, weeds growing into the steps. Sign stating from this point (Gazebo) you go at your own risk. Only went down to the lake/dock one day because of it being so dangerous. Very, very disappointed in this property. If this property was just for the home owners then some of the above wouldn't matter, but when using this as a VRBO a lot of attention is needed.

Amazing view and cabin, would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away.
