Stayed Aug 22, 2024My 2 brothers and I stayed there for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed. The neighbors were very nice. It was very quiet on the dead end road. We were up for our annual golf outing but would definitely bring the boat if we rent again next year. If you have any interest in selling, my brother said he's interested. lol. Thank you

Stayed Jul 11, 2024Outside of the location of this rental and its proximity to our family who also have a cabin on this chain of lakes, we did not have a good experience with the home or the owners. When getting ready on the morning the day after we checked in, we ran out of hot water after one shower. The owner acknowledged that they knew the water heater was old and an issue and needed to be replaced. Given this, it is disingenuous to rent to a large family where this issue will obviously come up. When the owner was contacted, they became defensive about how accommodating they were with a prior request we had to park a small camping trailer in the driveway, stating how much of an ordeal it was with having to check with the neighbors for some reason. Upon arriving, there was dog food on the floor of the entry that required cleaning and the laundry was full of the prior guest’s linens, rendering that amenity unusable to us. The carpets and couches were full of dog hair. The grill was unfit for cooking and obviously not cleaned from the prior use. It took considerable effort to get it scraped clean to be able to use. None of the electrical outlets in one of the bathrooms worked, which is an obvious inconvenience. Additionally, half of the bulbs in the dining room fixture were burnt out. I believe that this owner is new to VRBO, vacation rentals and is likely still learning. Unfortunately, my family was collateral damage in this process and we walked away with an unsatisfactory experience.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024This was a very nice place with the lake right out the door with a spot to dock our boat. Was great for kids with the sandy beach area, toys & many games & activities provided in the house. House was large enough for accommodating family. Owners were nice. Only suggestion is maybe getting more lighting in the bedrooms other than lamps & maybe new carpeting. We would definitely stay again.
