Lakefront Lodge with Dock - 7 Private Sleeping Areas and Huge Treehouse Deck

Beautiful property! The layout of the house is ideal for multiple groups....lots of space! The house was spotless when we arrived! We enjoyed grilling on the oversized deck off....very peaceful and enjoyed watching deer & white squirrels! We appreciated how everything was labeled and the kitchen was well supplied...even had two dishwashers! The property is conveniently located to shops, grocery stores and less than 10 min from downtown Gainesville. The hosts' communication was great and always responded, which is refreshing.

This place was awesome. We got it for my grandma’s 90th birthday and she’s still talking about it. Lots of space, fun amenities, and very nice overall.

Such a big, beautiful, comfortable, lake home in Gainesville. Four couples came together for a Valentines Day weekend “staycation”. We relaxed on the outdoor deck and watched the beautiful scenery, played competitive pool, table tennis and foosball in the basement, we made chef inspired meals in the gourmet kitchen- it had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and each couple was able to have privacy. I definitely recommend the property, location, and amenities, furthermore the host was extremely responsive.We made wonderful memories and took amazing photos!!Five 5 experience!!

We had a great stay over New Year’s! The house was spacious and perfect for group gatherings, with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy quiet downtime. The location is fantastic—right on Lake Lanier in a nice neighborhood, close to Atlanta, Helen, and charming downtown Gainesville. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home.

Was a great house for the groomsmen’s home base during our wedding weekend! Wonderful host, so many fun things to do, and plenty of space for whatever you need! We highly recommend staying here :)

We truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving at Sweet Tea on the Lake. The game room was a hit for all of us. It was a pretty cold weekend, so we didn't get to enjoy the lake toys. Overall, it was a great place to relax and spend quality family time.

We had a really nice family reunion to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their favorite activities. We’re all sort of “sit, visit, eat and repeat” types so there was plenty of that while we watched a white squirrel from the deck! There were 4 scientists in our group so the surrounding nature was a big hit. Nice memories were made!

The home is extremely spacious. All bedroom are spaced for privacy but the home also had multiple areas for our group to gather. We stayed here with family for my son's wedding in Dahlonega, GA. The venue was a quick 25 minute ride away. The home is on the lake but literally 3 miles from all the food, shopping, grocery stores and hair and nail places. Our expectations were beyond exceeded.

The house was exactly like we expected & very comfortable for all of us( 9 adults & 4 kids)I especially like the downstairs extra full kitchen in case you wanted to keep drinks or snack food closer to your bedrooms down there. My favorite porch was the upstairs outside porch with the ceiling fans & TV & small fire pit!

The house is roomy and comfortable, plenty of room for the 11 people in our group and is close to downtown Gainesville and the botanical gardens. We had a great time staying here and highly recommend it to others.

Sweet Tea on the Dock was amazing. My family loved floating/swimming off the dock, watching the deer, the game room, all the porches, and the house is beautiful and comfortable. My family had a fantastic time!

This house was perfect for a large family gathering. Plenty of space and plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms. We enjoyed the lake amenities. It could use a good deep cleaning, but couldn’t everyone’s home, Ha! There are many things to do nearby as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a large family with members of various ages.

This house was wonderful, plenty of space for everyone and everyone had a good time at the lake. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating. Would love to stay here again.

The house is everything you see in the pictures! It is spacious to host a large group, and everyone be comfortable! The house was so clean, and had the refreshing smell of clean when you arrive. The location and scenery is beautiful. It’s our favorite place to stay when we travel to Gainesville!

Great location; clean and spacious! Plenty of room for our family/friends! Property manager was quick to respond to any questions that we had! It was a great time celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday! It’s a fantastic property with lots to do! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again!

This is the 4th year we have rented this home for a 10-person friends weekend. Every year, we have been delighted with our accommodations, cleanliness of the home, proximity to stores and Atlanta, and the overall retreat feel of the house and surroundings. This was another 10/10 year!

2nd time booking! This spacious home sheltered us during a very cold strategic planning retreat. The layout of the home ensured our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. The well-appointed rooms provided space for corporate planning as well as private rooms to relax after a day of productive discussions. We also enjoyed playing pool and ping-pong. This home left a lasting impression on our leadership team.

Huge home. I concur with other reviews that you can visit with a large group and everyone will have their own space to hang if they wanted to. TV on deck was a great addition if you want to get some fresh air while watching a game or show. Gas “fire pit” was also nice. Rooms were nice and master bathroom is amazing. Other bathrooms a little outdated, but not dirty or anything. Large living areas on each level. House is definitely a fun maze for adults and kids. Dishes should’ve been through the dishwasher once more perhaps, but you have to expect that occasionally with home rentals and it’s minor. Only real con is you can’t bring pets!There are a lot of rules/instructions, but they’re pretty reasonable. This was a great stay for a family get together over the holiday with 10 people. I can imagine this is great summer stay with a lot of privacy (already pretty private) with the trees being full and the various screened patios. Great communication from hosts as well.

This is our third year using Sweet Tea on the Dock for our work retreat. This house is perfect for what we need, it's perfectly located, and it accommodates a large group very well. We love it so much we keep coming back!

The property is a wonderful layout and perfect for building memories with great friends or family. The hosts were so accessible and helpful. We have rented many many homes from retreats but this one is a keeper. The amenities and the location too were such that we wished we could stay longer. Thank you again for such a great spot to host magic memories.

We enjoyed our stay at Sweet Tea! The dock had toys and fishing that kept our entire group entertained. The home is spacious and clean. Nestled in the woods there is an abundance of wildlife - notably a white squirrel visits daily. There is lots of space everywhere! We spent lots of time on the deck and downstairs in the game room. The hosts responded quickly with any issues we had and we will definitely visit Sweet Tea again. Our group was a family of ten - 2 years old all the way up to 85 years old. The walk to the dock was long tho the elderly were able to do it twice a day.

This property was perfect for our family of 11. We had plenty of room to accommodate our large family vacation week. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of items to cook. Location was close to many stores. The dock was stocked with fun items and had space for lunches on the top deck. I highly recommend this place for families looking in the area.
