Lakefront House at Summer Breeze w/ Private Dock w/ Kayaks

We loved coffee and reading on the porch! The view was wonderful! The house was beautiful and clean. The location was good, but the dry dock at the time we stayed was a bit disappointing with not being able to easily get into the lake for swimming. It was hard to access with the kayaks, but not impossible. It also was a tad uncomfortable to be so close to the other house with strangers, but if it was a large party at both houses, that would be a nice feature! We loved the quietness of that part of the lake. Overall, a very nice stay!

Check in was a breeze. The fact that you can have a boat delivered to the property floored me. It was hassle free. Our mini vacation before school starting back was amazing, and I attribute it to the location of the house, the amenities provided with the house, and the fact that we could enjoy the lake. The hot tub was so enjoyable. We had two wonderful days on the lake and would definitely stay at 106 Summer Breeze again.

Great stay

Property and amenities as described. Fit our larger group well. Great Location with easy walk to private dock and close to Straight Creek Marina to put our boat in. Kids loved jumping off the dock in between the two houses. Would definitely stay here again and again!

Great house and kind, communicative operator. Way way way too far inside the no wake zone IMO. Took us about 18-20 minutes each transition through the zone, which severely limits the number of times you want to take the boat out...which is why we are there. Two runs a day wastes an 1:20 of time idling through the no wake zone. There were a number of small nuisances like broken door handle, a gap in a different door that would let bugs in, chairs that had broken armrest around the firepit, a broken dock ladder etc. The dock is at the very end of the lake, so it collects floating logs and other unsightly trash debri, and is not a good environment for swimming. Over all though, a great, new-ish beautiful house and scenery. The bedding was nice, and so was the firepit area. I guess it depends on why you are at the lake, as to whether I would recommend it. If you like a pretty area to take morning walks, sit on the beauiful deck and kayak, have at it. If you want to use your boat in a fashion where you come and go a lot (lunch and dinner at least), I would skip this one.

As advertised, this house was a fantastic summer getaway. In fact, we never left the house! The house had everything we needed, including kayaks. It was very clean and well maintained. We will be back next summer for another adventure.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights for our 11th Anniversary, and it was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed sitting out on the big, covered patio every morning and reading as we looked out at the lake. It was also nice to enjoy the hot tub one of the nights we stayed. There is so much space, and the bathrooms and bedrooms are very nice. It sits on a great inlet on the lake, and we got to enjoy much wildlife and peace on the water. Definitely recommend this stay for the family, especially if you are wanting a nice spot to take the boat out!

Our stay was spectacular! We couldn't have asked for a nicer location and host. Communication was excellent and the house was just as advertised. The weather wasn't what we would have wanted but it didn't matter. We still had a very relaxing weekend!

Property was great. Nice easy walk down to dock. On the far end of the lake but still close to rope swing bridge jumping and about 4 marinas.

This was a very nice property. Boat slip was easy access and pontoon rental was already docked and ready. Great communication with the property manager! We love the location and privacy. Would highly recommend!

We all had such a great time kayaking, swimming, boating. Loved that the boat was docked and ready for us already at the house when we got there. The house was tidy, had everything we needed even family games which we didn't end up using we spent so much time outside. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Only complaint is we didn't catch any fish hahaha maybe next time!
