Stayed Sep 25, 2025View and location were wonderful. It was easy to get to the beach and to New Buffalo. The house is older, but worked for us. Our biggest complaint was the lack of window screens in house. It was beautiful at night, but fighting the mosquitos made it difficult to sleep.

Stayed Nov 1, 2023Lovely old home literally on the beach. Right down the road from downtown. Only drawback is if you have a larger vehicle the parking can be a bit tricky. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We love the beach, basketball hoop, big table in the main room to eat meals, play cards, paint rocks etc. I only gave it 4 stars because this cottage is very old and you have to understand that renting it.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The view out the back windows was fantastic spanning a panoramic view of Lake Michigan. The kids loved the spacious back yard spending lots of time on the tire swing. The bedrooms were large and provided a comfortable sleep. Overall everyone was very pleased with the property

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The private beach here is as good as it gets in SW Michigan! The house is very comfortable for a large family, and the back garden overlooking the beach is ideal with its large elm trees, views to the horizon, and two large iron tables for group dining. 5* all the way!

Stayed May 8, 2022We had a great time at the Pelton house! The neighborhood was nice and quite and there was games and beach equipment that made it a memorable vacation! We will be back!
