Ideally located on the private side of Lake Anna, this five-bedroom, lakefront home is a place for boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and water activities of all sorts. Enjoy a private dock where you can moor your boat with cleats, park your jet ski, and even watch the local fireworks on the Fourth of July. You are also provided access to a boat launch in the same neighborhood, which can be found less than a minute away.
Upon entering this two-level home, you'll be welcomed by central air conditioning, free WiFi, and a wealth of natural light coming through large windows in the open living room, kitchen, and dining room. This is a wonderful space to gather, whether you're warming your toes by the gas fireplace, streaming a favorite movie on the flatscreen TV, or preparing dinner using stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. There's a dining room table with bench seating, stools for four at the breakfast bar, and two more tables outside on the screened porch and on the beautiful deck (which also has a gas grill).
This property has no shortage of entertainment options, with a game room downstairs offering Ping-Pong, a pool table, darts, and a second living area. Outside, you'll be treated to a dock on the lake (with a kayak available for your use), a firepit and sitting area at the water's edge, a large lawn, and a private hot tub. At night, you'll find four bedrooms - including two with deck access - on the main level and a fifth bedroom downstairs.

Even though it was advertised as “accessible for handicapped,” there were 5 steps to enter with railing on only one side. Bathrooms were NOT accessible, tubs too risky to try to get into with no grab bars. Glass door in one shower was stuck and difficult to move. No grab bars near any toilets. Living room furniture was shabby and sunk down a lot when you tried to use. Kitchen was nice and well-equipped, but only one plastic pitcher with no lid to mix up a cold beverage. Hot tub unusable as lid has sunk/disintegrated into tub. Kayak has a crack in the bottom so it was unusable. Screen door busted leading into porch, we found it detached and sitting on its side. This house needs some serious attention.
The house is a nice, average, rather mediocre home..... except for the stellar view. Plenty of things showing deferred maintenance. Mildew on the siding, nail pops in the ceiling, air filters that were super, super clogged which made the HVAC not work nearly as good as it should've. The maintenance company had new filters out and installed, pronto once I let them know though. The hot tub would only get to about 65° and was way out of balance on the test strips. The biggest concern was the collapsing pier heavily guarded by fishing string at calf height with fishing bobbers hanging off of it. Anybody walking down there at night could easily trip and fall either onto the pier or into the lake. I gotta think an insurance agent would be horrified.
Kids beach Lots of space
Fairly positive. Location is very good for boating and fishing. House was not well maintained. Nails popping up on the deck pose a danger. Some supplies were missing, but arrived after a phone call.
The online submission and acquisition of the stay was easy. After that, Vacasa, the property management company, was not impressive. I inquired about an early arrival six days in advance via their online process and got zero response. Tried multiple times with a follow up and got no response. Since we were renting on a Wednesday and it was available the day before I thought this would be easy. Two calls to Vacasa got no information and follow up. The day of arrival I called in the morning, spoke to the area representative, Breanna, who answered very politely but when I asked about the wary check in, sounded annoyed and said she would need to make some calls. I never received a call back. Overall, the sliding doors were in need of repair and having to adjust, there is a mouse issue and the gas grill leaked and was unable to use. Despite this, the property is nice, the house was fun with games and a kayak, and it met our overall needs.
This house needs some changes to make it better. The zip line was not functional and was not repaired by maintenance even after the request was made. The kitchen was very under stocked with no casserole dishes to in which to bake. The furniture was uncomfortable, including the couches and beds. Bedspreads with holes and very hard pillows welcomed us. The armoire door even fell off as we opened it All throw rugs and area rugs were rolling on the edges causing tripping hazards. The sliding door to the screened in porch would not slide without coming off the track. The location was beyond perfect with water that made the vacation spectacular. It was too bad the house did not match the property.
We booked this for a quick get away and the house has a great layout and while we only had four of us the house could hold many, many more. The outside is a little worn for ware but very functional. Unfortunately, the hot tub must have not been properly maintained as my poor little one is COVERED in hot tub rash. We enjoyed playing pool and ping pong but noticed quite a funny smell in the basement and notified the property manager. The house had soap at all sinks, dish soap, a sponge and a dish towel which was very nice and I wish I would have known so I didn’t need to pack them. The kitchen was very well stocked and there were fun games.
Beautiful lake view! The accommodations were perfect! The kids enjoyed the zip line, close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend for lake fun!
