The Island View I, located on the world's largest chain of lakes in Eagle River, Wisconsin, is the perfect getaway with magnificent unobstructed sunset lake views, a large flat grassy backyard, a sandy shoreline, and a private lakeside fire pit.
The Island View I offers all the amenities you desire in a peaceful Northwoods setting for you and your guests. This beautiful property is a 3,850-square-foot home with eight bedrooms, four bathrooms, and accommodations to house 25 people comfortably. Other highlights include two decks, a fireplace, a grill, a fully equipped kitchen, HDTV, as well as all linens, bedding, and disposable products included with your rental. The expansive lawn also has a playground system and a comfortable seating area, which extends from the home that is decorated in a Ralph Lauren Northwoods style.
This home is located just off the snowmobile trail system, offering hundreds of miles of groomed trails from your front door. It is also located within a few minutes of downtown Eagle River for all your shopping needs, and within 10 minutes of the Nicolet National Forest and its over 650,000 acres of hiking and biking trails.

All reservations require a copy of the rental terms be reviewed and signed within 72 hours of booking.
All events exceeding the maximum occupancy require written request and approval from Vacasa.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We had a wonderful stay with tons of fun and priceless memories! Lots of room for everyone. Being our group was large to the max, freezer space was very tight! Dishwasher only worked well on light wash! Do bring extra dishwasher pods, dish towels and dishclothes! Bring extra washer pods also. The majority of us had to leave a day earlier due to funeral, clinic appt and college commitments! I did feel bad as I did not strip the beds as in one place I read no need and then I also read don’t do any wash as they sanitize and use scent free detergent and then another place they said to wash a load of towels! I did not do any as I did not want them to set in the washer wet. I am not complaining at all , just explaining ! Already looking for next year! ?
I enjoyed the house and property. However, I accidentally left items and have not received a call back from management. One item is an electronic device I can track and see moving from rental property to rental property, presumably with housekeeping. I am really hoping they will return my items to me.
We had such a nice time here. The place is big and spacious, the photos don’t do it justice. My family continued to tell me all weekend what a nice time they were having!

Lots of room for our group
It is great property and location, good amount of space for a group of 21 people. Hot water capacity can be increased. Some more additional entertainment can be added like hand soccer board , air hockey , snooker/billiards, bullseye dart.
We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here with 15 people (total). There was more than enough room for everyone. The place is gorgeous and the sunset........ even better. We all stood in awe and watched the sun go down. Truly a place to be together, to enjoy nature, and to have a wonderful time.
We went here for my wife’s 60th birthday celebration. The place was immaculate and the pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was clean and just as advertised… We had 10 adults and six kids… And it easily accommodated us all. We will definitely be back!
Property was nice, house was nice. Geese and geese droppings on lawn and dock were a problem. Water was quite weedy at waters edge so swimming was really only good off of a boat
Our trip to Island View I June 18 to June 25, 2022. We have been to both Island View I & II before. LIKED: 1. The outdoor grill had been replaced. Great! 2. The house was generally clean and tidy. 3. You fixed the screens. 4. You fixed the steps. 5. The beds were clean and made. ISSUES: 1. Several of the dock posts were off; maybe high water floated the off and they didn't settle into the holes at low water. Also many of the dock tie-up cleats were missing. 2. Stove light didn't work 3. We couldn't light the fireplace. 4. Dishwasher utensil rack bottom was broken out – previously reported and maybe fixed. 5. Dishwasher lower rack was missing a roller. 6. Hand mixer was missing. 7. The 2 dish towels are not enough; we brought 4 from home and washed daily. 8. The toilet seat in the first floor bathroom with tub, was slipping sideways. The right side bolt had been replaced, but there was too much play in that slot. Garbage pickup – we were told Fridays, when we arrived on Saturday all containers were full. The containers at the road were emptied on Tuesday. But the containers near Island View II were never taken to the road, therefore never emptied. One of the house-keepers and I dragged the filled containers to the road, because another group was coming. But the containers will not be emptied in time for the new group. This a major issue that needs to be addressed.
House is very roomy (8 bedrooms) and clean! House Management Co is awesome to work with….Katie is great! Large deck, spacious yard , great fire pit, and love the beach! Will be back next year with our family of 14 !!
