Lakefront home with private dock, canoe & kayak, fast WiFi, and firepit - dog OK

The home was extremely clean and well taken care of. The firepit was lovely, the walk down to the pond was easy, and the beds were super comfy! Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for the weekend! Would definitely come back!

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and in a great spot - 15 minutes from town (Greenville) and right at the pond with private dock.

Stayed here with my fiancé for a few days and couldn’t have had a better time! 10 minutes to downtown Greenville and Moosehead Lake. But if you want a quiet day at the cabin the pond is right there! The cabin was so clean and comfy. Had everything we needed. Very large driveway and some yard for all the outdoor games! Highly recommended!!

My fiancé and I wanted to do an easy staycation near home and this couldn’t have been better! Communication and checkin was incredibly simple. We enjoyed the private dock and pond access, listening to the loons at night! We can’t wait to come back for another trip!

We have stayed at Birch Overlook several times. We didn’t think it could get any better but there are several improvements since our last stay which added to our experience. We will definately stay again.

Location. Overlooking prong pond. House well kept and furnished. Easily accessible for canoeing and kayaking with dock access. Beautiful secluded property will highly recommend to friends and family

Relaxing stay! We enjoyed our week at this cabin. We loved using the canoe and the availability of the fire pit. It did get pretty hot inside. The coolest we got it was 74 at night which is still pretty warm for what we are used to in the house but we made it work. We had to contact the property manager for an issue with the lockbox code which was resolved very quickly. Thank you for a nice stay!

Birch Overlook was likely the best VRBO rental I’ve ever had, and I book these 3-5 day trips multiple times a year, just me and my dog. The house was spotless and just as it looks in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’ll need to cook meals. The back deck sits basically up in the trees, which is so peaceful and especially beautiful during peak foliage. There is another house next door, though it was vacant during my stay. The only shared areas are the parking, and part of the trail down to the water access. Each has their own fire pit and private dock. Sunrise on the pond was phenomenal and everything about this property was perfection. I will definitely be renting here again! (My dog also LOVED our trip!)

What a cute cabin. Perfectly nestled in the the country with a Beautiful peek of the waterfront from a few angles.. The cabin was clean, well stocked with necessities. Front porch was awesome to.use at sunrise and sunset. Walking down to the waterfront was easy and the view was pure heaven. The leaves were a verity of bright fall colors. It was so quiet; it was the first time in my life I actually could hear leaves fall. We will definitely book here again. Only complaint is I wish the full bed was a queen since the room was big enough to hold one.
