Grand View is a 4,900-square-foot, seven-bedroom, five-bathroom oasis, ideal for families that would love nothing more than to cap a long day of outdoor exploration with a mellow evening watching the sun dip below the tree line. Up to 22 guests can share in the boundless, quintessentially Northwoods adventures that the Grand View private residence offers.
Each morning, guests will be greeted by an expansive view of the sun rising over Catfish Lake, part of Wisconsin’s pristine Eagle River Chain of Lakes (the largest chain of lakes in the world). Natural light is ushered in through large picture windows, flooding the home’s open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen on the main floor. The new day also illuminates countless opportunities to enjoy the waters and woods that define the region.
Grand View is steps from Eagle River’s ATV, cycling, and snowmobile trails, ensuring excitement whether the weather dictates bike shorts or bibs. A large dock, a lakeside deck, multiple patios, and a sand beach and shoreline provide ample opportunities to spend the day in, on, or around Catfish Lake. Guests can cruise the chain and hop local lakeside dives, ski across glass calm shorelines and sheltered bays, or hunt the lake’s abundant muskie, walleye, and smallmouth bass.
We know how important convenience is and Grand View doesn’t disappoint. This private residence offers an additional onsite trailer and vehicle parking area, a semi-circle driveway for easy unloading, and is situated just minutes from downtown Eagle River. Additionally, Lumpy’s Sports Bar is a short walk down the road, where you can catch the big game on an even bigger screen, shoot some pool with friends, or catch a bite to eat at this perfectly themed Northwoods watering hole.
Bringing kids who are either too young or too reluctant to romp on the water or in the forest Grand View has guests covered with a private swing set, a huge yard, a lakeside firepit, and a foosball table. The home’s theater room and walkout lower level family room with a bar are ideal locations for kids and adults to reunite and wind down after a day of unbridled fun.

Fantastic! 100% recommended
The location and the property were just what we needed.
We booked this house for our annual family trip and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was top notch, beautiful and loaded with space.
Home was very clean. Home was built with quality in mind. Very well supplied with comforts of a very pleasant occupancy experience.
Very nice and cozy , we love it and definently I recommend for anyone who wants a great time and great location. I offer 5 stars + ....
Grand View on the Lake is a beautiful house with a gorgeous view. All furnishings are comfortable and clean. Stocked with everything you need! Highly recommend!
Great house, great location and plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely stay again.
Pleasurable.
Had very good time
Snowmobile group of 10 stayed for 3 nights. Very clean, tons of space, will rent again next year.
Perfect big family home in very quite neighborhood and lake close by.
Overall the stay was what we were expecting and hoping for. Only issue was the ice melting in the garage. Water went towards the entry door versus to a drain or outside.
This house was great! Clean, lots of space and bedrooms. Great location on the chain!
Our family had an amazing 10 days at Grand View On The Lake during some beautiful fall color. We had 17 people on the busiest day and everyone loved the spaces and location. It was great to have the upstairs kitchen/living area and the downstairs area which gave all ages room to spread out. The dock/firepit/playset and lake access worked out well for a fishing boat and house boat rental. It was a bonus to discover the rowboat and canoe available as well. All amenities were in good shape and worked well. Parking is tight but using the garage and additional parking up the hill helped fit all the vehicles and trailers. We'll always cherish the memories!
The view of the lake through the many trees was such a grand view to wake up to.
We have a large family, 10 adults and 11 grandchildren, this house was perfect for our group, very well supplied with everything needed. And it was very clean. We had a great vacation!
This was our third time at this home, 2 at Thanksgiving and now August. 16 of us slept comfortably. Great house and views of the lake.
We loved how spacious the house is, and the view of the lake is amazing. Our kids enjoyed the beach area and playground. We loved being able to have our boat there all week. If you have a large group with a variety of ages- this is the perfect place for you. We ranged from 1-91 and everyone loved it!
This home certainly lived up to the expectations raised in the description. Our entire party (we filled the place) were very comfortable, access to the lake was great, indoor & outdoor furnishings were very nice, also close to town and other activities. We could not be happier about this selection!
We arrived late Saturday evening. It was VERY cold in the house, when we first got there (60). We returned up the heat to take the chill off. Lights were on to welcome us in. Music was playing from the direct TV unit. That was nice. By Sunday, we could not turn off the heat. We called Adam, the manager, to get some help. A repair man showed up to help with the AC/heating system, Sunday evening. He was there nearly three hours and said the unit is too small for the size of house. We needed the AC going because the week was going to be in the upper 80's to low 90's all week. What he did, helped, but not perfect. Then Friday late afternoon, we heard water trickling somewhere. Upon investigation, the ceiling in the basement bathroom was leaking water and at least four tiles are damaged. Back upstairs, first looks, we thought it was the toilet stool was leaking because it was wet on back. So, we turned off the water valve there. We had run the dishwasher Friday afternoon too. Friday evening we did another load of dishes. More water in the basement Saturday morning. Now we assume the dishwasher has a leak somewhere. Adam had been called Friday late afternoon, but no response before we left at Saturday morning at 9:30am. We left a note for the housekeeper about the problem. I took three pictures of the damaged bathroom and two pictures of the note I left for the housekeeper. The house did present some problems for us, but could get fixed with some time. Good luck and Thank you. Kathleen
