Magnificent water front house with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. This spacious lake house sleeps 14 people comfortably. The 1st floor has 3 large bedroom suites, each with its own private bathroom and separate entrance. Kitchen and dining room with great view of the lake. 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom upstairs with expansive great room looking out over the lake. Two decks overlooking lake and private, sandy beach with a boat mooring and a water trampoline.
This property has it's own private beach, which is great for kids to swim, boat, fish, have camp fires and be in awe of billions of stars. Great place to de-stress and commune with the beauty of the Adirondacks.
If you need anything to make your stay outstanding, let us know. We would love to bring you the best of the Adirondacks each season. For example, if you have snowmobiles, you can ride miles of extensive trails in the winter and park your sleds on our beach at the end of each day. In the fall you can hike and explore some of the 6 million acres of the Adirondacks and immerse yourself in the incredible beauty of this natural wonderland.
This is a serene, quiet, beautiful area for nature lovers. If you are looking for a fast-paced, metropolitan area, this is not your place.
There is boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, running, tennis, basketball, horseback riding, cave exploration nearby. In the winter you can ski/snow board, snowmobile and ice fish. You can visit Lake George, Saratoga Springs, Lake Chaplain or Ticonderoga.
If you love nature, tranquility and relaxation, this is your place! There are also really good places to eat and drink nearby, such as the Paradox Brewery, Sticks and Stones, Pitkins in the downtown, and Stewart's has great ice cream! There's even a karaoke place. There's a nice general store for Adirondack souvenir shopping.
Lovely home with such a great view. We loved having 4 baths for our group of 8. Very well equipped in the kitchen and plenty of blankets to keep you warm. We had a blast.
Good size camp for families. Plenty of space. Having linens provided was a plus, as well as Laundry and Dishwasher. Nice kitchen with lots of cabinet space and large table for meals and games. Outside property and furniture was old and not as well kept. Beach was nice, but path down was steep and treacherous. Trampoline was old, as well as blow up floats filled with holes. Definitely not a property for people who have issues with hills and stairs. Owners nice, but a little overbearing.
House was clean and well stocked! Owners were very helpful and addressed a few of our concerns . Lake was beautiful! My family had a wonderful time ! I thought the outdoor property could have been better maintained along with the boxes of floats and outdoor chairs & toys!
Our 3 generation family had a great time! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The views of the lake from the house were beautiful.
Close to Gore and West Mtn. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Nice lake views. Plenty of room.
This was the perfect location and property for our family to get together. The beach was a highlight. Alll the water activities, camp fire and stargazing made our vacation very memorable.
Enjoyed family time on the lake.
We had a great time at Brown’s Beach! The house easily accommodated all 11 of us, the adults all slept downstairs and the kids upstairs. It worked out perfectly. The kids loved the beach and we were able to rent a boat and moor it. We used their canoe and the kids loved the trampoline! Beautiful views from the decks! We hope to return for future trips!
Great space for large family. Wellappointed
We had a great week at Brown’s Beach! As advertised, it was very quiet and relaxing, and we loved being right on the water. There are views of the water from inside the house and from the upper deck. But nothing beat the view and relaxation of the lower deck and beach. We loved getting up early to see the sunrise, and at this time of the year, seeing the fog roll off the water. This was only surpassed by the spectacular moon rise over the mountain on the far side of the lake. We ate most of our meals at the house, which was easy to do with the updated kitchen and appliances. The 3 large bedrooms on the first floor, each with a separate bath and outside entrance, were perfect for our sibling reunion (with 2 additional bedrooms available upstairs). Schroon Lake is away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George, but still close enough to easily visit. The owners were very accommodating and responsive, quickly addressing any questions or requests that we had. Overall, a great experience.
