The perfect accommodations for our girls weekend.
We loved staying here so much. It’s perfect in every way. Close to everything we love to do. A few seconds walk to the water. Right in between all our favorite ski resorts. Bravo!! One suggestion - we are TV-aholics. A TV mounted on the wall in the master would be perfect!!
A beautiful property, right by the water, so many options for many people to stay.
Often when you stay at VBRO properties, they are much smaller than they look in the photos. This one was the complete opposite - it was huge! The place was clean and well-stocked. It would be great for a family with older kids because the downstairs has two bedrooms, a full bath, and a family room. Then there is another family room/social space upstairs too with a primary bedroom/en-suite! It was convenient to Northstar and Palisades, but would also be really great in the summer - you can see the lake from the front patio area and could walk to Gar Woods for some drinks and dinner. Definitely would stay again! Only tip I would say is it we were there in Tahoe in the winter, and the upstairs has gorgeous cathedral ceilings, so it can get a little drafty. They had a few blankets, but you may want to make sure you have a few sweatshirts or blankets of your own if you run cold!
We were delighted to find this gem in north lake. The house is a minute walk from the beach, but sits behind trees to block out any road noise. Don’t sleep on this place in the winter though because it’s close to ALL the best ski resorts. The hot tub was perfect to escape the cold evenings and relax after hitting the slopes. The bar is prime Instagram post material and the space feels clean, updated and high quality.
Amazing stay in North Lake! The home is a stone's throw from a public beach and excellent trails for every activity you can dream of. Can't wait to go back
Loved staying at this home; it had all the perfect touches to make me and my Husband feel relaxed during our long weekend getaway. The location is perfect, a short walk to Garwoods (a must visit for dinner!), and the lake; a 5 min car trip to the local grocery store and 30 mins to multiple ski resorts. The beds were fabulous after our long days of skiing and the kitchen and was perfect for a cook up followed by relaxing with some wine by the fire. Grace has done such a great job having everything available that we could possibly have needed and was very responsive and helpful for tips and tricks in the area during our stay. We can’t wait to visit again!
We had the best time staying at Carnelian Bay! It’s such a beautiful property that’s extremely well taken care of, and such a lovely spot right near the lake. We spent a lot of time enjoying the hot tub as well. The hosts are great, and responded to any questions we had so quickly. We just loved being here and we’re already planning our next trip back!

We had a great weekend in Tahoe. The home is stylish and cozy with a fresh coat of paint, new floors and awesome hot tub! It's a short walk to Garwoods and across the street from Old Post Cafe, which has great breakfast and even a bar. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the BEACH, which is a stone's throw away.
