Lake View Retreat Loaded For Fun, with STUNNING Views!

Lovely home abd very responsive hosts!

Outstanding location, spacious house, fully stocked for LOTS of people to have fun on the water! There are two single kayaks and a double, canoe, rowboat, and a pedal boat, complete with so many life jackets in every size, even the little kids, even the big guys — all included with the house. We rented the big boat and had so much fun popping over to Inverness for the playground, antique shopping, and ice cream (check out Sweet Alps, even the people with a million food allergies come away happy!). Hosts extremely accommodating and very prompt response time. Family trip for 11 with per in tow, wonderful memories made! The views of the lake are NOT oversold!

Great house for a family vacation! We loved the firepit for making s'mores. The kids enjoyed rides in the paddle boat as well. The host is easy to communicate with. We would book this home again in the future.

The home is beautiful, and has everything you could ever need. We had the whole family out for Christmas and were surprised to see the while house decorated and there was even a christmas tree there. Will try to stay here again if we come back to this area.

Everything was as advertised or better. Mark was always available and very helpful. The house and property was well maintained. The only 1 small issue was the grass and weeds left on back patio and firepit area. As a resident of Florida I know that storms come up fast this time of year. the yard was well mowed before our arrival, but was not weeded and blown clean. I did bring it up to Mark, so he would be able to address it with his landscaper. Still a 5 star rental. Being able to use the deck boat on property was awesome. there is also a boat ramp on property which is seldom found. The town of Inverness is beautiful and everything is very close by. Next time we will plan a longer stay. Thank you for the great stay and beautiful memories!!

We had a wonderful stay in this absolutely beautiful house. The lake view is so peaceful and the house is equipped with everything that you could possibly need. We look forward to staying here again - hopefully many times. It is perfect for a family vacation.

We loved our stay, the day on the lake was perfect and the house has everything you could need!

Everything was amazing. Two chairs at the dining room table need to be glued. Nothing happened, but they were kind of unsteady.

The house was wonderful, spacious, well stocked and the location superb. One small issue was that there were ants in kitchen and bathroom areas so the owner may want to deal with that at some point but wasn’t a big deal really. Having had ants in our house before we just know that it only gets worse.

This home was perfect for our retreat, in fact this is our second stay here. The kitchen has everything anyone would need. The rooms are large and comfortable. The views, especially the sunsets are spectacular. Kayaks and canoes and other water vehicles are available and we enjoyed them. There are plenty of gathering spots, in and out. The hosts are very easy to work with. Inverness offers many opportunities for hiking and the town is lovely. We hope to return - what better recommendation could there be?

The rental was a beautiful property on Lake Henderson. We'd previously lived in Inverness in the 1980's and visited several old friends there on this trip.We rented a boat from the owners Mark and Patty and enjoyed cruising the vast lake chain. The owners were available if needed and very accommodating. The house was very well equipped and we had fun fishing off the dock--actually caught some fish! Would recommend this rental without reservation.

No joke, this is the best rental I’ve ever had. The owners were very considerate and accommodating. The property is amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. The views of the lake are fantastic. We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and just looking at the wildlife. The game room was great for entertaining my family when it happened to rain. The house is very comfortable and there was no shortage of space for everyone.

The property was easy to find, had everything perfectly labeled and had every type of kitchen appliance you would need. Had a great grill for cookouts plus a fire pit for s’mores. Very easy boat access, and a perfect location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to fish, boat and get away from it all

As several others have said in their reviews, the pictures are nice but still don't do this house justice. It is gigantic, with at least four different sitting areas and two very large master suites. The area for pool and darts is perfect and actually allows for real billiards games and not an endless use of the short stick because the walls are too close. There are high quality TVs all over the place. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with cabinets and drawers labeled for ease in finding things. And on and on. The house was just outstanding in every way - very clean, great mattresses, hot hot water, good water pressure, towels galore, plenty of coffee on hand, etc. On top of all that, the location is really great - just steps from the huge lake in the area - and there are plenty of boating-related options available to take full advantage of the water. Also the place has a nice buffer from the neighbors with a good sized yard and fence so you have plenty of privacy. Finally, the owners were very friendly and responsive in their communications. All in all a true 5 star experience. Highly recommended.
